Wicked ride! Cool to hear you are still running the torque arm setup.
6061 makes some elbows that you may want to look into as they have some models with longer runner length from the throttle body. I am running one on an LS1 with a 95mm TB under the stock TA hood. Only a little cutting of some supports was required to clear the stock hood.
Interested in what you are running for a fuel system to feed that monster.

Re: Vader Ta Procharged F2 Car
Sorry guys have not kept up with this as I should. The car could see street use but does not, I would drive it to car shows but the car show crowd around me does not really appreciate a third gen with a race engine lol. They are more into matching #s and talking about barn finds. The fuel system is a Maganfuel 750 Pro Outlaw belt drive pump. Used to have dual fuel systems on the car but found the belt drive works fine for both. I have a 5 gallon fuel cell in front which gets me 40 miles of driving. If I needed more I could always carry some spare fuel in a can. But as I said I dont really drive it around anymore.

Couple of things stuck in my mind is a barely able to run gto backing out of an enclosed trailer with tire booties on it. It lumbered into its spot and they removed the booties. After the show they lumbered it back up into the enclosed trailer again. At least a dozen people at every show "had one just like it." In a popular vote show, a red car always wins. Also the guys who would start rubbing their car at 8am and rub it until the show ended at 5pm.

Re: Vader Ta Procharged F2 Car
I spent a large part of my childhood going to carshows with my parents. Dad had a couple of restored cars, so we hit up lots of them. I learned that those people are on a whole other wavelength. I have no desire to impress them, either. Lol.

Re: Vader Ta Procharged F2 Car
I am actually in the process of converting the car into a turbo combo. Figured I will update this as the build develops. It will still be a 400 sbc but I had to ditch the little M for an Iron eagle block as I need to raise the cam up to get the performance I am shooting for. The only body change will be a fiberglass hood, the rest will stay the same. Planning on a single turbo, likely a Gen II 102mm or 106mm mid frame not fully decided. Heads are no longer 23 degree but some nice 18 degree RFD heads by Curtis Boggs. Would be happy if I could knock a half second off the ET of the blower combination.

Re: Vader Ta Procharged F2 Car
Very possible, still learning what will give me the best bang for the dollar. Victor at precision turbo is suggesting the Gen II 102mm, but i guess ultimately I will let my engine builder decide what will be the best fit. I am open minded and am looking for the turbo that works best for what I am trying to do . But with so many options compared to the supercharger world there are a bunch of different variables to weigh out.

Yeah, they are very expensive at $5700 gulp. I think if I can get the ability to spool good I will love it compared to the supercharger.

Re: Vader Ta Procharged F2 Car
There are honestly some guys out there that aren't running that much faster than Brian already is with the F2, but I'm sure power was turned down significantly though. As always though, he'll install something then a year later he will want more, so might as well go F3R and be done with it lol. Maybe even go LSX...
You should see me trying to get back out of my C3.
I picked up an LSx motor sunday afternoon. Not sure yet what I'm going to do with it.
I really like Ogie's build, but I agree with you, should keep it supercharged.

Re: Vader Ta Procharged F2 Car
I have actually been collecting parts for the engine and am hoping to have the engine built and complete by the end of January . I have all the parts for the engine purchased , just waiting on the intake manifold from RFD to arrive. It is taking longer than expected as it need to be converted over to EFI. I have decided that the turbo will be a Precison GenII 106 mm . After the engine is done then the fab work begins. Trying to see if down and forward headers will work or if up and forward will be my only option.
I know people are asking why not go with an F3 and it was a very easy choice. The abuse of the horsepower needed to turn the F3 is around 350/400HP. The bottom half is not strong enough to last very long at those levels. The F2 was about max in terms of punishment that a sbc can handle and live.Turbo is more parts friendly.
Hope to have some pictures soon of the engine complete, until then Merry Christmas and Happy New Year to all !!

Not sure on the wheel Hp as I have not had it on a chassis dyno but it makes 1700 fwhp. Power did not drop on the pulls and after tuning at the track I am confident I have picked up 1680 HP 400" SBC F2 ProCharged - YouTube
