What is this noise? (with video)
my car just started doing this, at the same time i was trying to test the fuel pressure with the car running as i think the fuel pump is toast
it sounds like the starter may not be coming out far enough and is just skimming/raping the flywheel. what do you guys think?

I would look at the starter. Perhaps it is not engaging the flywheel.

Oooohh that sounds bad. You can see the alternator is moving a wee bit. Starter is barely engaging the flywheel/flexplate. I would stop buzzing the teeth until you get under there and look for the problem.

so i bought a battery float charger and had it on there for a couple days and it seems that a dead battery was the issue, cause it turns over now.
on a different note, now that i was able to get the car started and back to the original problem i was trying to figure out, which is it hesitates under acceleration, i hooked up a fuel pressure gage and i am getting 0 psi. both primed and running. it takes a couple tries to get it started, itll start for a second then die out until after a few times itll keep running... is it possible for the car to run on 0 psi??? i returned my last harbor freight fuel pressure gage because i thought it was the gage (worked before, i recently replaced the injectors and tested pressure which was fine) but the new one still reads 0 psi. could i have gotten two failing fuel pressure gages? i checked the fuel pump fuse and its good, havent checked the relay because i dont know which one it is in the bundle of relays on the drivers side firewall. any help would this issue would be appreciated

If you do key on engine off, the first couple seconds you should hear a humming. This indicates your relay is ok (that's the fuel pump running). The relay in the bundle on the firewall is the square one. The oval ones are for the maf. (One is power the other burnoff). If you have 0 psi, it could be the pump. There is also something in the tank that is prone to failing that could cause this, but the name escapes me ATM. Maybe someone with more experience can chime in.

with key on i cannot hear the usual fuel pump priming noise, which i normally was able to.
i thought the relay was the "click" noise, which sounds like its coming from where the relay is, which that still happens.
i just cant seem to understand how if the fuel pump is really at 0 psi and the fuel pump is not priming with key on, how the car still runs (rough at idle at times, but hesitates badly on acceleration)
