Got new fuel sending unit, what else do I need?
I just received my ACDelco fuel sending unit (expensive little sucker) and a Walbro GSS340 255 lph fuel pump. There are some pieces that I need to finish up attaching everything, and I'd like to hear what brands or locations you buy these from.
- Fuel Strainer - Will the factory strainer fit a walbro GSS series pump? What is a good brand to get?
- Adaptor from factory harness to GSS style connector. Not sure where to get these, anyone have a link?

After much searching I think I found the proper install kit for the pump. Does this look right? http://www.racetronix.biz/itemdesc.asp?ic=PIK-003&Tp=

So I got just the regular GSS340 and not the GSS340M, will this kit still work? I've seen a lot of threads mention the 340M but I've also seen some with the 340 .

Re: Got new fuel sending unit, what else do I need?
Following up on what I put above, I did get the kit that I linked to. Looks like it will work fine. Had to swap the wires on the adapter but was not hard to do, just have to stick a jewelers screwdriver in the end and pull them out. As for the filter sock, it doesn't fit on the pump since it's not the 340M. I may bring it in to a local machine shop and have them take a tiny bit off so that it's equivalent to a 340M, or would you recommend just trying to find a filter sock that fits the unmodified 340?
