Valve cover suggestions for the new AFR heads. Fit/value/pcv (pic)

My project is coming along smoothly so far. I'm already way over my budget and the stock covers aren't gonna work. I want to go with corner fastened covers and keep it under $100. I got AFR 180cc 0919 heads with 1.6 high energy RR's. ASM large tube runners. Do I need a "tall" style cover? Will I run into any clearance problems with the runners? I'm also concerned with any rocker clearance. I'm using stock cam for now. I also want the same pcv valve locations if possible. Thanks!

Nice looking build Brother, but I have no answer for you. I only dream about AFR's now.

I used a set of low profile chrome valve covers from summit that have the PVC valve provisions.
I've retained all the emission equipment and as I'm using a FIRST FUEL INJECTION TPI setup the tall valve covers gave me clearance issues.

Those FFI TPI set ups look cool. I don't see them often. We're you using 1.6 rr's? Maybe I can use a thicker gasket with low profile covers just in case.

I am running the older 190 version and used the stock valve covers. I did have to clearance the webbing inside the covers for the crane gold rr's that I am running. I also clued a thick cork gasket to the heads them self and used the stock rubber gasket on the valve cover. Everything looks stock. Oh yeah, my heads came only with the center bolt provisions.

So far no leaks. I used the yellow glue you use on the rubber seals around the doors and trunk lid. Works great.

My heads are aluminum Brodix IK200 with 1.6 rockers - the cam is a 280XFI from Comp. The stock valve covers wouldn't work.
I used TRD-9518 baffled valve covers and a TRD-9168 gasket set from Summit. I note that Summit has raised their price since I bought these items in 2011. This was originally an LO3 car. I replaced the engine (now a 383) and repined the wiring harness. I also use Dynamic EFI's - EBL P4 for my ECM.

I have AFR 195's with crane gold 1.6 roller rockers and I used the stock TPI valve covers (centre bolt)

I did have to bend the metal tabs inside the cover to fit around the rocker.
