Need help replacing EGR Vacuum line

1987 IROC 5.0 TPI - stock engine.
Has anyone had to hook up the EGR valve's vacuum line? I have taken the throttle body off, tried to take off the intake tubes - passenger side (but can't figure out how). I did get them unbolted. If anyone can guide me with putting that vacuum line on without taking the fuel rail off PLEASE tell me how you did it!!
Does the intake manifold come off without having to remove the fuel rails?
thanks

Re: Need help replacing EGR Vacuum line

As far as I can remember, to get to the EGR valve u do need to remove air intake, to replace vacuum line that runs to the EGR valve you do not need to remove anything, just unplug old plastic line and plug the new one.

Re: Need help replacing EGR Vacuum line

Thanks for the reply. I can't even see the vacuum port from there. I even took off the throttle body. I can see it still has the rubber fitting for the line stuck on it, when looking in a mirror.
I'm just getting over the flu, so I'm ready to tackle it again.

Hey.... you don't think this MADE me sick
.....no.....well.......no.....crazy & PO'd definitely!
