Pinion shaft stuck
Hi guys, I was in the process of removing the rear axles for a drum to disc swap. When it came time to remove the pinion shaft, I gave it a medium strength tap and it went in several inches leaving the axles unable rotate. I am unable to access it to pull it out.
Any suggestions on where to go from here? Any help appreciated.

Re: Pinion shaft stuck
Only thing you can do is find a way to push it back in from the back so that you can turn it. You are going to have to find something that you can push in to the back side and shove the shaft back in a little. You may have to bend a curve in a 1/8 inch thick piece of steel that you can use to push it in.
