Nice, does look like the front nose has been repainted. If it was taken off to be repainted, thats why it would look outta wack. Plus.....rubber+10 years of sun=warpage.

the whole car was repainted last year. The front bumper and both fenders were new at the time. I did run my hand across, and noticed a dent. That must of just happened Any ideas how to fix that.

Isn't that piece plastic? The body shop guys told me older plastic parts are hard to put back to the way they were. If the dent really bothers you they still sell those pieces and you could have one painted and install it yourself.

The bumper is new, i just called my dad(he did the work) he told me that the absorber thing behind there was shot. Of course he did not tell me that i need it at the time Anyways, i just ordered one from gmpartsdirect.com. 100 dollars later, the part is on the way. I figure the plastic must of held a good shape until now, i wonder if someone sat on my car!!!!

Anyways, all will be good.

No, i love this car, and besides that dip in the bumper, she is almost perfect(on the outside anyways).

And i have been working a lot of overtime lately, so i deserve to spend it on something for myself. Which of course would be the car

I won't put it back on myself, off to my dads shop it will go. Now for new pads, and i have to get those wheels polished!!!!!

Anyone from the chicago area in here? There is a meet this sunday at the volo car museum. If interested, check out the midwest region board.

9D1: Are your rims 15" or 16"??? I notice that some of the 5-spoke rims (like mine) are painted car color on the non-machined surfaces. I've heard that the 16" wheels are not, and have a row of 'rivets' around the rim. I've only seen photos of the 16" rims, as not many people around here have decent 3rd gens.

They are 16 inch wheels off an 89 formula. Actually bought them off a guy on the board from naperville. 100 bucks for all four with good rubber!!!!

They are polished aluminum, and look real good when clean. But i have been too busy to clean them up
