Is the HotCam 2 much 4 any sort of long runner TPI setup? Whether it be LTRs or siameised runners?

The HOT cam likes more intake. I would recommend AS&M SS-LTRs or a SuperRam with the HOT cam.

No, absolutely won't work! A LT4 Hot Cam and any sort of TPI is a recipe for disaster! Read this:

I thought about the LPE 219 but it's a single pattern cam so I'm not sure. I may just call CompCams and get a custom Extreme Energy grind that has the HotCams duration and the LPE 219s lift. It really comes down 2 the heads that I'll get.

Again,

The LT4 HOT cam likes more intake. Will it work ... YES. Will you see an improvement with that cam ... YES. Is it better than the stock cam ... HECK YEA!

But - would this cam be better mated to a shorter runner intake ... YES. That cam likes more intake. Period.

If I recall right, the HOT cam is very friggin close to the ZZ9 cam TPIS makes. And it was designed for the long runner TPI system. But instead of the inflated TPIS price tag, it cost only 185 bucks. And it is dual patter....great for nitrous. You can even get it in a package w/springs and Roller Rockers identical to gold CRANE's. I would definately score an edelbrock base and a set of AS&M runners and 52mm TB. Of course you'll wanna use some kind of ram-air and port the plenum (I'd port match the whole TPI system and the heads) to feed as much air as possible to support the cam. I wonder how well this combo would do with a set of Vortec heads that have 2.00/1.56 valves and a good port/polish job done?

No, the ZZ9 cam is very close to the ZZ4 cam. ZZ9 is 212/226, ZZ4 is 208/221, and LT4 HOT is 218/228. Any one of these cams with an aftermarket TPI intake and better valve springs will work great.

I considered the mini-ram by TPIS but it's so freakin' expensive. $895 4 the intake and $355 4 the fuel line kit. I was even thinking about Edelbrocks #3500 ProFlo injection.
