Hypertech fan switch

I just bought a fan switch from hypertech. It turns on at 200 off at 185. How good are these things before I go and hook it up? Is there anything that I should look out for? It looks really easy to install, but instead of putting this heat shrink tube dealy in, does anyone else have any other recommendations, maybe cutting the switch wire and just crimping on the new piece?

All help appreciated!

You shouldnt have to do anything. Just screw new sensor in to head and reconnect switch.

i got the hypertech switch that comes on around 170. i had to cut the end off the wire on the switch and cut my factory wire and use a butt type crimp connector. wasn't any big deal.

I have a jET 60600 . turns on at 195 off at 185. I love it. My car NEVER overheats like it used to in traffic. I also recommend picking up a bottle of water wetter . It should just screw in. Follow the directions, you may have to use teflon tape.

enjoy it.
