Pulleys are cheap and easy to install. I have the March 2pc. I've been running mine for almost 2 years and only twice has my battery gauge dropped to the red. Remember your also slowing down the water pump too.

I also have the march two piece and it gives me trouble with accessories on. It is at the point where i can't use my running lights without trouble. My recomendation is to not run under drive pulleys unless you have a charging system upgrade such as a 140 amp alternator like powermaster or install the iceberg kit in your own alternator. Hope this helps

March makes 2 different kits of the two piece underdrive pulleys, or at least the used to. Awhile back I had the regular kit I guess you could call it and sometimes my volts would go pretty low with alot of acc. on even with my 100amp alt. Now I have what they call the Power and Amp series. The alt. pulley is ridiculously small which makes the alt. spin faster with the smaller crank pulley. Since having this setup my volts have dropped only slightly with the headlights and acc. on.

A new belt is required for underdrive pulley set ups. I took off the March alternator pulley and went back to my old one and was still able to use the belt i bought with ther March set.

thanks, i'm gonna order them friday. i'm gonna get the march power and amp pulley set along with a new belt, i already have a 55/135 amp alternator.
i dunno if the 55amp setting will be good anymore, so i will have them up it to 70amps, do u think that will be enough to run my basic elecricaly system, just what she needs

Once again, like an air foil, this is a mod that does nothing, bought some, sold them one month later.
If you have a stereo system, plan on replacing your altenator down the road because it will go bad.
