Re: Hotchkis Subframe Connectors
When I looked at Hotchkis, I believe there was a fit issue with the dual cats. I went with Alstons, welded. Everything else, springs, trailing arms, panhard adjustable rod, tie rod end links, is Hotchkis.

ive installed those sfc's on several cars bothe 3rd gens and 4th gens.......easiest install out there.
stay away from the round ones, they're a PITA to weld along the rocker seam......the square tubing type are much easier to work with.......i'm a fan of the hotchkis ones.

Re: Hotchkis Subframe Connectors
ya I had the LCA's and PHR, SFC's STB and Springs.
All I have now are SFC's complete coil overs and 4link setup going back in now.

Re: Hotchkis Subframe Connectors
Do the Hotchkis go inwards or outwards? Whichever it is, which brand square/rectangular tube brand goes the other way, to be able to run dual SFCs?

Re: Hotchkis Subframe Connectors
alstons run along the inside near the tunnel. However, they also connect the rear of the front subframes to the front of the rears. Not quite as solid as something like the UMI set. But alstons are good for verts and as a secondary set for ppl like you.

Re: Hotchkis Subframe Connectors
If you want a real set that ties the outside of the frames and runs along the body seam and ties to the middle of the frame rail as well look at kenny brown's tubular sfc. best 250's i ever spent. no more creaks or rattles going over train tracks(lots of them near chicago). stiffened the car up and tied the frame together in the right spots. subframe connecters are more effective when welded in place imo.
