Re: Duraflex GT Concept Fenders

Proabably save some weight, but I'd have to see them on a big car pic..not just a close up.

Re: Duraflex GT Concept Fenders

Do what you want but its not for me.It looks a little "aftermarket importish" to me.Plus,I prefer the stock look of our cars.To me style wise there isnt much to improve on.IMHO big wheels/tires,slammed to the ground cars, big hoods and wings take away from the looks. Not saying a slightly lowered 3rd gen with at most a 2" cowl doesnt appeal to me,a 92 hi rise spoiler but whats the point. Its like lambo doors, why? Its trick, its odd ,its unique which is fine if thats what you want.I just dont get it and dont care for it just my opinion. Then again I have several friends that dont get the whole car hobby thing and I dont listen to them.

I think these have been discussed before on this forum, the general feeling was that the picture was photoshoped and that you cant be sure of the actual quality

have you ever picked up a stock 3rd gen front fender? They're like a feather... they have to be under 3 lbs each.

Looking at the link it claims those monstrosities weigh in at 20 lbs... I guess they're good if you are looking to add weight to your front end.

Re: Duraflex GT Concept Fenders

If it had just the bottom vent and were a little lower, I would like it... it would be pretty much just like the T/A fender vents only seamless.

Re: Duraflex GT Concept Fenders

The vents are too big and too close to the fender lip. I dont like them too much.

Re: Duraflex GT Concept Fenders

and! lf you do decide to go with those
go elsewhere to buy them
some sites jack up the price on their fenders/bodykits for no reason
it's duraflex, that stuff is cheap...alot cheaper than that.
I know, l put a bodykit from duraflex on my 91' 240sx.
