Jegs.com

I ordered my exhaust kit from them and had a great experience. Free shipping, 2 day service, a free hat, catalog, and stickers. A few days later, I ordered an ARP intake bolt kit. There was a small 'handling fee' this time, but again they sent a hat, stickers, and catalog and I got it in 2 days!

lucky, lol ive only gotten the free Jegs stickers and recently i got a free hat, i guess certain people they choose have to spend over $1000-$2000 for parts for free stuff. but yeah they are good and only $8.99 for handling fee is sweet.

Oh, and I forgot, I think my favorite thing from Jegs is that little air bag they use to cushion your order when it's in a large box. That makes a GREAT pillow when you're lying on the concrete underneath your car!

Ordered from both summit and jegs. Both are great, just see who has the cheaper price and just feel safe about getting it from either one. Summit is normally a couple of $ cheaper, but not by much.

Jegs sucks!

Go with Summit!

I ordered a K&N Air Filter from Jegs, and had it 2nd day air'd to me. Well, I open the box, and find out the air filter inside the box isnt even close to the one I need.
So I called them up last week, wed. and told them what the problem was, they told me they would email me a "Call Tag" so I could ship the part back. Well, here it is a week late, and I still dont have the "Call Tag"

Ive talked with about 4 or 5 different people, and Ive had them send me a "Call Tag" 2 or 3 different times, and havent recieved any of them.

last guy I talked to told me to send the wrong air filter back, on my dime, which is a load of crap!

I will NOT be giving Jegs any of my business. It will always be going to Summit from now on.

Jegs is a load of

Ohh, forgot to mention I got a hat, catalog, and some stickers...Interesting how they didnt forget that useless crap...

Yeah!! I can just get a hose clamp, and wrap the hat around my TB, and just clamp it down!

Wow Jegs, thanks for lookin out for me!

:lala:

Its all better now, I just called Summit, and ordered what I needed, the total cost came out to 10 less than what Jegs wanted anyway.

So ill just ship the air filter, hat, catalog, and stickers all back to Jegs, get my refund, and never look back!

I think I have 3 or 4 hats now. That should say something. I love Jegs. They get my order right all the time, super fast shipping. I'll continue to do business with them until somthing bad happens. I like the free shipping and no handling fee over $100.

well i just ordered against my intent. i just ordered some headers and a coil from summit because they were 15 bucks cheaper when everything was said and done with. first time that has happened to me between summit and jegs. i hope this transaction goes smoother than the first one i made two years ago....no package for three weeks.

well this was a pleasant summit experience compared to the first one. i got the first package of two yesterday and the other is on it way for delivery. three day shipping isnt bad especially for free. i ordered a coil, some plug boots, and headers. total summit was about 15-20 bucks cheaper. as long as the headers arrive today i am a happy camper.

anyone know why they would send the headers on a different day when everything was ordered together. i called the guy at summit and he said the headers werent on backorder so what gives?

Hi, your welcome. I hope the postman didn't scrunch the hats too much, lol.

Just a guess, but maybe they don't actually stock the headers, so they're drop-shipped right from the manufacturer, which might mean an extra day for the "process." If that's the case, they might not consider that a "backorder." But it would be nice if they'd tell you that, lol.

well i am starting to like summit a little more. with my order they gave me 15 dollars towards my next purchase with no minimum amount that i have to order. so i can get some little thing free. that is cool. i also think they called flowtech(holley) and told them i ordered headers and had them send it out. my dad said it costs vs functionality to stock most parts isnt effective for a company like summit or jegs.

I have used Jeg's since 1998 and never had a problem
with them. I had purchased on like 8 different occasions,
and never had any problems.

I also use Summit since around 1999. Never had a problem
with them either. In fact, I use Summit more than Jeg's lately.
But I will be ordering my motor through Jeg's (only place
that carry's the motor I want cheap). So, depending on what
I order, I use both Summit and Jeg's.

My experience wasn't a good one! I had ordered my Torque Thrust II's from Jeg's, only to find out that they billed me for (2) sets! I went to check my balance in my bank and it was alot lower than expected! I **** a brick! I finally tracked the $ and Jegs billed me twice, they apologized honest mistake......but then there's more> I've never purchased rim's and tires before and told the guy that I would need everything for my setup! I recieved everything on time and fast, except I didn't get any valve stem's So now I have to wait another two days to get these wheels on, no biggie but I can't wait anymore to get these things on! I'm like a little kid @ Christmas Day! I'll try Summit next time!

i've had good experiences with jegs and summit. both pretty equal. prices are usually pretty similar (especially after adding shipping). only time i would chose one over the other was if one carried a specific brand that the other didnt.

i flip flopped between the 2 when building my car, never really had a problem with either. when you consider how much inventory they move it's pretty amazing.

right now i tend more towards summit since i bought my holley stealth ram/C950. I asked jegs if i could return it if i didn't like it and they said 30 days so long as nothing was opened!!

Summit said 90 days, regardless if it was opened or not!! nice to know when you spend 2400 bucks!!!

I never got a hat from them.

I ordered twice with them over the phone and twice the person screwed up and enetered the wrong number on one of the items in each order.

Summit when I dealt with them on the phone repeated item numbers and description so I knew I was getting the right thing.

"Jegs, one call gets it all, one click gets it quick." I have never heard words more true than these. ordered a clutch kit on friday afternoon, i had to have it saturday morning. guy on the phone said he would see what he could do, no garauntees. the clutch showed up at 9:30 am saturday. Jegs rules. tech support is great too. i was installing a set of QTP long tubes on a buddy's ls1 car. needed a little advice on how to make the drivers side clear. called Jegs who we did not even buy the parts from and the guy on the phone gave me some ideas that worked real nice. Jegs has my business.

I got my order today from Jegs.com. The day I ordered
from them, I got a call from them later on that day. For
security reasons, they call you up after you make an online
order, just to make sure that you are the one that placed
the order. The person over the phone even told me exactly
when to expect it! They said Tuesday, and sure enough,
there it was! I even got some stickers and a hat! Yay!

I could have edited the last post. But I want people to
see this post!

I ordered my GMPP Ramjet 350 crate motor from Jegs.
The lady over the phone was nice and answered all
my questions. She told me exactly when they should
receive my check, how long it takes to clear, and when
the motor will ship.

I got a call from Jeg's the day before they will ship
out the motor. Said they will be there between 10am-2pm
on Wendesday June 16, 2004. Well sure enough, I saw
the trailer truck backing in to my workplace right at 12pm!

The motor came as expected. All in one piece! LOL
I am very happy with Jegs. I got everything with no
problems. I even got a little more than expected! I
got the updated motor! BUT.....NO hat. LOL
I don't care though, cause I don't wear hats.
