I sell tons of stuff on ebay and shipping should of not cost so much. I shipped a car amp to great britin and only cost $47.00 know that is cheap. Would of been cheaper but I guess they have to pay some custom fees.

yah really i only had to pay 35bucks shipping for my lowering springs that came in a much larger and heavyer box and they even came 3times as far.

Locust charged me 49 bucks for shipping and it cost them only $20 to ship my 6x9s and if i would of known the actual total before bidding i wouldnt of bidded. And because i complained about there handleing charges they left me neg feedback and it was 100% before these guys got ahold of me.....even tho they got there money from me and i got my speakers they still ruin my feedback.

In my honest opinion, I think you didn't try to resolve the situation professionally at all. You could have at least used proper grammer and spelling when sending them emails. Believe it or not, it helps when trying to state your case in a complaint against a company.

Contrary to popular opinion, it is the buyer's responsibility to know exactly what they will be paying, not the seller's. You should have sent another email asking them to clarify the price before you bought the speakers, regardless of what you thought "additional" meant. I pretty clearly read the email as them saying it is an additional $22 in shipping and handling, because that is the only response that makes sense. Like they said, the base S&H charge was over $26, so why would it only cost $22 to send to you?

Believe me, I'm all about taking down a company when they treat their customers wrong; I helped start the fire that got ThirdGenResource removed from this site. But "the customer is always right" isn't something I believe in either. This was definitely a case of miscommunication, so I wouldn't say they suck as a company. I agree that they overcharge, but a company has a right to charge whatever they want.

Buyer beware.
