on 1 feb. 07 i ordered clear side marker lites from them through e bay . never recieved shipping notice . after a couple of days e mailed them , again , again , for a total of six [6] times over the past week and a half . tried to phone them three [3] times today , no one home . just now got on e bay and MAKOTO AUTO TRENDS is gone . today is 15 feb. 16:40 hrs. . stay away from MAKOTO . P.O. BOX 1788 , ARCADIA , CA. 91077 !!!! STAY AWAY FROM THEM !!!!
Man, if were not getting screwed by a board member its on ebay. Do we have BOHICA written on our foreheads. (bend over here it comes again) I hope you paid by credit card or paypal.
i did use pay pal , just really pi**es me off , all the scammers on e bay . [ have not heard B.O.H.I.C.A. since i got off active duty ] uncle tom , ret. acft. mech.
strange i ordered a set off ebay on January 13th and i recieved them about 4 days later. i thought the transaction went great, they're website is working.
I ordered a set awhile back, no problems whatsoever. Sorry to hear you got the "lucky" set. Atleast you used paypal, try filing item not received with ebay.
Makoto Auto Trends is known for the crappy customer service. I've dealt with them and they took almost a month to ship out my clear side markers after they recieved my money order. I called quite a few times, and emailed even more. Only twice did they answer my phone calls and they never answered my emails. Their service sucks. Period.

well guess what , makoto finally delivered to me , 26 feb 07 18:00 . ordered on 01 feb 07 . good looking items , BUT NOT FOR A THIRD GEN CAMARO . some kind of ***** i think ? supposed to be clear side marker lites for 82-92 camaro . not at all like it was pictured , about 9" long and tapered at the rear . oh well , warning to all . do not buy or order from MAKOTO AUTO TRENDS . i will try and call them tomorrow and see what happens , think they stung me . well today i finally got the correct items from MAKOTO AUTO TRENDS .
only took 1 month 2 days , 8 e mails , 3 phone calls . finally talked to someone , after 20 mins. of B/S and put on holds . any way i got the lites and they look good , but not worth the hassle . i for one will never deal with them again . just my opinion and i wanted to share it with all . UNCLE TOM

Damn it....I just ordered some stuff from them this weekend. I wish i saw this posting. I was wondering why the UPS tracking numbers didnt work yet. Its prob. because they havent been notified for pick up. I cant believe they prob. wont be here for a month.
