I知 extremely unhappy with YearOne >:(

I ordered a bunch of TRW suspension part. What shows up are AC Delco parts. Only part of the order arrives and the Tie rod ends where different sizes with different color boots. Now I have to pay to return something I didn稚 order. I wanted TRW not AC Delco and yes the catalog specifically said TRW.

The guy at YearOne says TRW probably supplies AC Delco so tuff luck. I canceled the rest of my order and won稚 be buying from them again, but I知 sure they don稚 care. I知 just one person.

Its not worth my $10.00 in shipping to do anything about it so I値l just write them a letter outlining my displeasure and move on.

I had also ordered a NOS parking break lever, which arrived beat up and rusty. But at least it was the correct part. I did call them and get it returned also.

If you paid by credit card you should have called and told them flat out that you were going to dispute the charge unless they paid for all return shipping. People always forget that when paying by credit card the consumer has the right to cancel a charge due to dissatisfaction. Read your credit card contract, the details vary but as far as I know all offer this basic protection in one form or another.

Hmm, I ordered the 8-piece weatherstripping kit for my T-tops and it was exactly what I expected.

Sometimes companies just screw up.

Re: I知 extremely unhappy with YearOne >:(

They are taking it back, so I’m getting a refund for the product. But I have to pay for shipping it back, that is what bugs me. I have to pay return shipping for something I didn’t order (in my eyes) and I believe was misrepresented in their catalog. They have been around for many years and have many happy customers; I’m just not one of them.

I also know most companies work this way but I'm still not happy about it.

Frankly if you ordered the TRW parts and got Delcos, then they should completely refund your money (including return shipping).

If you call again and explain your situation maybe they can give you a credit or discount on any future purchases.

If they don't, or you don't wanna bother (considering they fcuked up your first order), I'd say **** 'em and get your parts elsewhere (I'd probably do the same thing).

Frankly I'm sick and tired of companies that refuse to apologize and fess up to their mistakes.

There are OTHER parts suppliers.

Yea there mag.. is a little miss leading too. Ordered (what I though ) was the big triangel pices on a 92 RS $50.00 turns out to be the small triangel seals. But the pic in mag..clearly pointed to the big triangel.

Re: I知 extremely unhappy with YearOne >:(

That's why I like using both (online and catalog)...like double checking...

You can always ask the person on the phone before ordering...

Re: I知 extremely unhappy with YearOne >:(

i will never use them again, i wasted like $130 on the outer/inner window felt, none of the holes line up on the outer! So now i had to spend another $60 for GM hopefully i can return them...
