I was wondering if anyone has done business with www.sixspeedsinc.com. I purchased a kit to upgrade my T56 trans, they billed me for it about a month ago. I have not received any order status or a tracking number. I have emailed them multiple times but they have not returned any.
I believe that Amber was in the hospital about to pop out a baby and she does most of the communicating with customers (emails, mag boards, etc). You'd probably be better off calling them.
Business is business. I have called once. I don't call Summit 3 times to check on the status of an order. My next call is to cancel unless they ship order on Monday.
I called them this morning and talked to a lady that said her and amber had a lot of paperwork to do and they would call me back this afternoon. they never called me back. I guess I will call them again tomorrow.
I had the T56 in my 2000 ta built by them and could not ask for better service, a week and a half total turn around time including shipping. I had the transmision upgraded with some better parts with the rebuild, best money I have spent on the car yet!
excellent company... i would only let them handle my T56. Very fast service, very knowledgeable, and they WONT rip you off.. great company.. you should look at their feedback on LS1tech.com...
If they treated you well, it must have been awhile ago. The 2 of us on this board aren't the only ones waiting for parts. When I called, it took 3 days to even find the order. It has been a month and still no parts.
I couldn't and won't recommend them to anyone. Moving my business to D&D Performance tomorrow. Tired of listening to promises they don't keep.
Talked to Amber again today and she said the parts would be on my door step on friday. I guess I will see if they show up. if they do it will be like 2 months from the time they billed my credit card to the time I received my parts.

Just unacceptable in my book!
Good luck.. hope the parts show up! They should be giving you a credit of some sort for the inconvenience...
on thursday an envelope with a seal and a couple of other parts showed up in the mail. still havent received all of my order. not very impressed!! I will call them again monday.
I bought one of their stage 4 trannies a few back in about November. They to 4-8 weeks to build and that was fine. Shipping was a problem, but that was Yellow Freight's fault (not my first time having issues with Yellow). I did have to talk to Amber quite a few times and we had scheduled a conference call with Yellow to discuss my dissatifaction with their shipping, but Amber ended up with a long doctors appointment. Like other's have said, she's either about to pop, or has, don't know which, but do talk with her if you have a chance. She's more than willing to work with ya. Just my experiences and
Feel lucky. I fell for the promises and am still waiting. Should have followed my own suggestion and canceled. Sorry but all I have heard from her is lies. Not a great way to stay in business.
I had the same problem took about a month to get my parts and there were some shipping problems, but they're always very nice and helpful. So I'll think about ordering from them again.
