Re: Whats up with comp cams?

Comp cams is still around. Heck even Holley went into chapter 11 a few years ago. Maybe thats why some of the prices are a little higher now.
Gotta remember it is only chapter 11 (reorganize). Not chapter 13 (liquidate).

Re: Whats up with comp cams?

Yeah that is right Holley did. A lot of times these are good for companies. It makes them say what can we do to prevent this? Now holley has come out with self tuning equipment etc...

Well, I think the price of the Stealth Ram for our FI engines is a good deal. On the now Weiand website they charge $351 with free shipping for the Stealth Ram and then $259 for the fuel rail kit/AFPR but every other website including some sponsors on here that sell the Stealth Ram/Fuel Rail kit charge over $100 more for these and that's for the non-polished version and that's not including their charges for shipping/handling.

Re: Whats up with comp cams?

Call Bullet cams or Crower. Both are good companies, both have experts answer the phone, and both will set you up.

COMP and Lunati are totally separate entities. Lunati is owned by the same people that own COMP, it it NOT a COMP company. Lunati is in Olive Branch MS and Comp is in Memphis, i know all of this because i worked for COMP and was there when Lunati was bought by the owners of COMP.

their help desk are 2 separate groups.

they were a HOLLEY company, the owners of COMP bought Lunati.

just after the owners bought Lunati i thought i would be funny. the operations mgr at the time was heading home and i said "hey Chris, since the bosses bought Lunati, does this mean i can wear Lunati shirts round here now" coldly he looked back and said "no".
