Screw stock lifts LLC! Don't shop at that dump.

hi guys, just wanted to make you aware of this sketchy online vender. when i needed an ignition module, i wanted the best so not to replace it again, so i wanted ac delco as recommended here. so i got the part number from them and shopped around for the best price, i found one for 38$ off of amazon from one of their venders that they use for stuff the dont keep in stock.

first off i paid for fast delivery and it took like 5 days before they even shipped it and they used the slowest method possible. you get one response from them about shipping via email and they will never reply back, second a few months later when the pos quit on me, i decided to use the 1 year/12k warranty, i emailed directly to the owner of the "company" explaining what had happened, and he just replied in a short message "we only do 30 day exchanges" and never replied to any of my follow up messages, so screw stocklifts llc and screw the owner Mike Borrelli who refused to replace my part that came with the 1 year warranty included under the price and clearly stated here.
http://www.amazon.com/ACDelco-D1943A...9959179&sr=8-3

so just a heads up if ur online shopping, watch where the parts come from!

Re: Screw stock lifts LLC! Don't shop at that dump.

ill say it...you apprently cant read very well.

"Processing takes an additional 4 to 5 days for orders from this seller.
Ships from and sold by AC-Direct."

it says this in more than one spot on that link.

and also

"Note: ACDelco partners with other manufacturers to supply the parts your car was originally built with. This product is in a ACDelco package, however the part may have been manufactured by an independent ACDelco supplier."

meaning theres a good chance it wasnt an actual acdelco part

anything that you buy off amazon that they dont have in their warehouse takes 4-5 days to process and ship. so it doesnt matter if you pay for fast shipping as it will still take 4-5 days to process.

as far as the part and warranty...you get what you pay for.

There is no claim to be filed or won if you smart enough to know the difference between seller warranty and MANUFACTURER warranty.

He didn't buy it from Autozone because he saved a whole $8 to skip the lifetime return policy Autozone has.

I did not think of that but I have run into it in the past. I have found some seller warrantees are impossible to follow also. The seller should give him the info to act on the manufacturer warranty though. I feel that is good business.
As stated Autozone has there lifetime return policy but please note that they have always beyond there warranty for me in the past. Please look up brakes and notice a "limited" lifetime warranty. Oreilly's has the same limited warranty and follows it to the letter. It states that ordinary wear is not covered. Autozone still replaces for me with no hassle unlimited times.

Re: Screw stock lifts LLC! Don't shop at that dump.

Understandable but, it clearly states the warranty under product info. If the item is ACDelco, you contact them drect or, see if a GM dealer can help out.

A walk in store will back sold items under an agreement with their supplier, ebay, amazon, etc., are manly composed of distributors/resellers with limited or no liability to back sold product.

That's where the term 'buyer beware' comes from.
