The hurricane can be ported to 1206 with minimal effort. That is what I did when i switched to the AFR210 heads.

I dont if anything comes out the box 1206. Most are 1204-1205. My victor e is just under 1205 and i ported to 1207 for my new heads. Plenty of material. Its a huge port

The World Products Motown is used by Accel in their EFI system, it is 1206. This is the standard intake, you can get an EFI ready one from Accel.

Shoot me a price too if you can. Thanks

It looks taller than a victor e but victor doesnt have vacuum ports around the carb flange. Looks like pro ram has built in spacer

It is basically a Motown intake with the bungs drilled and matching rails.
My dyno guy says that that's one of the best small block single planes on the market.

Pm'd you.

I wouldn't doubt it. What is the total height?

When I did this chart back in 2005, it was a 1204 port and 4.875" tal.

My hurricane gets the job done, but if it was a half inch shorter my trottle body wouldn't rub the underside of the hood.

Accel Pro Ram with rails set to bolt on summit had them at $485
one of the chevy mags did a test of 15 to 18 intakes and this one came out on top.

Re: 1206 ready single plane EFI intake

Maybe there are to different versions of the Accel intake. I have the Accel ProRam and it was set at a 1205 intake gasket. Porting it out to a 1206 may require welding as it might get thin walled in some areas.

Hrmm. Interesting. Looks like for the single planes, the Hurricane/procomp/el-china is a good deal. Made more power than a lot of the high dollar intakes. Under $200 on ebay:

I looked into the hurricane but found a great deal on mine for the whole setup. I think the acell has a longer runner by one inch, so less hood clearance, just FYI.

The Motown EFI single plane sold in the accel box under the name ProRam
in the last 2 years is a bolt on 1206 felpro gasket. and can go up even larger with port work. no welding. the pic I posted is out of box. bolt on and play 1206...and comes with fuel rails. for the $485 price

I have owned mine for two years and I had bought it from another member. Might explain the difference.

I think Tibo is right.
I have also Pro-Ram and it was far away from 1206...it needs some porting to fit 1205, take a look at the pictures.

black markes is for 1205...

Re: 1206 ready single plane EFI intake

well this is a pic of my ProRam by Motown (in a accel box)
and it looks nothing like yours.. mine fits the felpro 1206 intake gasket.
out of the box. yours and mine are 2 dif casting..mine has the larger ports.
so they don't use what ever casting they did a few years ago.. accel has stopped a few things...

note I droped the gasket down and out lined it for pic.

Re: 1206 ready single plane EFI intake

So Accel gave up making their own intakes, and simply resell someone elses?

I wonder when they are going to give up on their junk EFI controller and go with something more modern
