I know that the rivets are a b*tch to keep clean, but I LOVE the multi-piece look (these both actually are 2-piece) and they're not any worse than those damn gold mesh wheels I have now. As far as why these, they're unique round these parts. In my area, every 3rd Gen has huge polished/chrome or reversed wire wheels on it and I just want something different. They also are fairly deep and I just don't think that the flat-faced wheels look as good on our cars. I've looked at all kinds of wheels, and I like this style best. The Centerline Mojave's are sweeeet too but they are too shiny for what I'm after. I have a set of C/L Hellcats on my truck and the friggin' brake dust is hell on the shine. They need constant polishing and cleaning. I don't mind cleaning my wheels often, but I'm looking to go to a drilled/slotted 12 or 13 inch rotor soon and they will just be too much to clean, not that these wouldn't, just not as much shiny area to maintain. I hope that don't come across like I'm a lazy bum, but the painted wheels on my wife's Grand Am are sooooooo easy to clean. Just spray the dirt & brake dust off and they shine like new. If you guys have any similar wheels in mind, by all means, I'm open to suggestions. They need to have the multi-piece look, come in the right offset & backspace (no spacers please), be available in a 17x9 or 9.5 and be a 5-spoke (or multiple of 5 spoke, like a 10 spoke or split 5 etc...). Thanks for the opinions though, I just need to hear other people's thoughts sometimes, it helps sort out the internal argument in my head.

Speedline Type 2310 SC’s they’ve been discontinued for quite some time now. So I’m not kidding when I say you will never see these wheels on another third gen.

You know I figured this is my third one so why not go all out. Absolutely no regrets I’m completely satisfied with the end result. The only thing left is horsepower and after that it will truly be complete. My ideal project is to have a hard top, t top, and a convertible. Each with identical paint, wheels and interiors. Why? Just to f_ck with people’s heads. But thank you for the complements it’s been a long road.

Going all out you say. When addressing the horsepower issue, my brother has beat Vipers and SMOKES SVT Cobras, T/A Ram-Air's an SS Camaros with his 87 IROC LS1/T56. He also has an 88' Vette IRS in it. The guys in the Viper are always suprised as hell when a 87 Irooc just drives by them when they're on it. That may be worth looking into when it;s time for you...

GTA-SPD, what else does he have done to the motor. I know that just swapping in an LS1 into a thridgen will not get those results otherwise everyone would be doing it. Does he have motor work? Oh yeah, i go with #1 too.
