Firebird Hood

Does anyone know if somone makes the SS hood for firebirds ? i been looking and cant find one anywhere, i think it would look really good, i dont see why they wouldent, i mean they make the RA2 hood for camaros....

For the Firebird, its called the "Super Duty" hood. I dont care for it too much, because I think its a little too tall, and isnt functional at all(I think) but to each his own.

They sell it at Hawks Third Gen Parts , Im not sure if they sell it anywhere else.

cool, yeah i like that one a little, i wish it wasnt so tall though, but what i'm looking for is a camaro ss hood, like this one. but for a firebird.

It is a 4 inch cowl,It can be made funcional if you have speed density.The front of the scoop is right in front of the throttle body.I have taken my sd hood off to cut the hole and mount the grill.I don't think I like it too much though so I'll either stay with the original,power buldge, or go raII.

I would sell it.Probably 200 bucks.I also wanted the ss hood but this was the closest I could find.

Sure,it's just sitting in the garage.I have the hole for the screen cut,all I have to do is put the screen in.I'll se how much to ship.It cost me 94 bucks to ship from hawks on the east coast.

awesome thanks. Tahoe is prolly about 6-7 hours from me, i used to live in Oakland, Ca (Bay Area) and i went snow boarding in Tahoe every year like 4 times a year.

so the wiring harness was cut on it? where was it cut ? also if u wouldent mind could i get some interior pics and maybe where the wiring was cut and what not. if its too much trouble its ok

well my dad has a Suburban that we just gotta put some windows on, i think he's doing soon, and we can rent a trailer.

I'll get more pics,sure.The harness was cut in the engine bay right by the brake booster.I do have the pink,it hasn't been registered in a few years though and it is a salvage title do to the theft recovery.

oooof 8 hours, i can still do it though, tomorrow gonna check with my father see if he can help me once we get the windows in the truck. honestly not sure when he gonna do that though, i know it will be within a couple weeks or so. is that alright ?
