I used it and it is awesome
unfortunately it doesnt last long
well not in my dirt back yard at least
It stays shiny for a while if you let it sit
but once the dirt and debris starts flying its pretty much over
so when your driving somewhere
stop a block short and spray it on
then drive up all cool like

I would think all tire shine of any brand would wear off after about a week of driving, is this not the case? Is one better?

Gel huh? I'll have to look for this next time I'm at the parts store. I really hate the way Black Magic sprays all over your car after you apply it, and drive.

the black magic stuff is thick enough to be considered gel.....the good thing is that it can last alot longer than eagle, but just follow the directions. You gotta apply a good coat and then let it sit for 10 minutes before applying one more coat. Use a spongebrush to really work it into the rubber and then let it sit til it dries (to prevent spray on the car). Ive had it last a long time

I use the STP son of a gun.

*ducks!*

But it works pretty well, is easy to control, (foam) and does not sling all over the car like the liquid stuff. Lasts a while and is fairly cheap, too!

I like the black as night look, but not shiny.

I use the Black magic, sprayed onto a dish sponge. The "tire shine" sponges always get too ragged. Once it's been on for about 20 minutes, I take a dry rag and wipe the tires down as much as possible.

That look lasts quite a while, but if you like it shiny, then I don't really know how long it'll last.

I LOVE the Black Magic stuff. Here's why:
1. It's gel so you don't get it all over your rims
2. unlike most gels it doesn't spin off and leave the bottom of your car and you rims covered in little black smudges
3. It lasts until I wash it off ( very slight fading )

Smells good too! That is what i have use! Gel is the best. Spray makes too much mess on the rims and paint.

The foam spray you're using is better for plastic, so keep doing what you're doing. But as far as tires go, the gel is what you want.

Okay guys, looks like you never used anything else than black magic...

PLEASE, do yourself a favor and go buy some Meguiar's endurance gel, and you won't buy these other crap again...

ill agree with that when i first got my car i thought black magic whas this shizznit but then it would wear off after a day and i got tired of always aplying it everytime i wanted to go out for a cruize so i picked up a bottle of meguiar's endurance gel and ill never go back to black magic
