staggering roh rt's?

been fighting and searching for the right wheels for the rs for a few years now, i want a good looking wheel....but really dont wanna pay 5k for them, i came across the roh rt's today adn fell in love problem is i wanna run a 18x10 out back which isnt an issue but i want a 18x8 in the front and they only list a 18x9, i dont want super wide so i can get just a little more low in the front when deflated,

/what i'm thinking is running the 18's out back with a 285
and maybe a 17x8 with a 245 up front, anyone have a fbody with 18-17 roh's on it, i'm thinking if i rake the front a little it could look sick with the 17's up front and 18's in the back, what ya think?

It would look ok, but I think a dish on the rear would look much better. If you go ROH, gotta go with the snypers!

I think 17's all around would look better than 17/18 imo

I agree that the 17's all around will look better than the staggered combo. But I think you should not settle for that. Get the 18's you've always wanted. This is something you should do right the first time and I think you'll regret your decision if you go 17/18. I say keep searching man.

stick with 18's all around but go deep dish in the back. That would look way good. Im still trying to get the perfect rim. Kinda of hard when you got a 4th gen rear with little room to work with.lol

Here is a 17x8 front. I would really stick with one size all aound!! It will look awful with a 17-18 combo on these cars! Don't forget that these rims already look bigger than they are because the spoke entends all the way to the tire(no dish at all). Does that make sense??lol

Here is one more pic of my car, crappy angle though. The rears are 17x9's and front 17x8. I sold them for 18's though.

Have you tried emailing a rep at rt? Or one of their dealers? Alot of times they have more sizes than they list...if you check out boydcoddington they dont even list an 18x10 for my rims, but those are what are on my car.....I dont think you should settle for less, as the wheels are one of the more definative aspects of the car. As gr89rs said, do it right the first time. I hated the fact that I spent so much on my rims at first, but everytime I look at them, I forget all about it.....with the car that you're building, it'd be a shame to not get what you truly want

well with the rear end done with the airride and seen it in dropped state i have decided for now i am going to problay chrome my factory wheels and reapint the spoke inserts to match the car, i dont wanna pay for what i want, ie 800 a wheel right now and then have to spend the cash on the big brakes to make em look right, i could buy the rt's or some others i've seen but tehy dont have the look i want, i LOVE the factory wheels just want em jazzed up a bit

If i were you i'd go with a real deep polishing rather than the chrome. The chrome will make the car look cheap imo.
