You know , I always thought the louvers looked alot Better on the Camaro then the Firebird . The body style Complements them Better IMO . On the Firebird , it makes the Car look like the Hunch Back of Notre Dame ....LOL

I got me a set
Many years ago I had some louvers and really like them, some how they crack on me and I got rid of them. I'ts been ten years now and I decided to buy some new ones. I think it gives the car a whole new character. I got them in the mail the other day but will wait until spring to put them on. I say go for it and dare to be different..

Well ive decided that im not going to put them on my black iroc. I would like to do a gunmetal one in the future and i think i would put louvers on it. I think that you need to help tie the factory louvers in with more louvers... factory louvered hood... and maybe louvred fenders. Thats why i am going to pass, and do it on a later project.
Thanks

and the louvered grille. i think theyd look pretty badass on mne. you kinda described my car minus the fender louvers.

yes, and i forgot to add the rally grill for the front. Fender louvers wouldnt be necessary but it is just another option for creating a oneness and unity.I love gunmetal!
I think all louvered and finned up would look good... but that isnt my goal at the moment. But as i have said before and totally agree with you, i think gunmetal cars would look very good with louvers.

lol well i guess i'll tell you. i thought the same thing as you guys. so i bought a set of 78-79 z28 fender louvers and cut them into my fenders. i love the look. this is on my project car and it's a black iroc with rear window louvers also. both cars came with them when i bought them. when i get access to a camera i'll take pictures of it. even though the car is in spray can primer until spring
