I will try and get video soon. So far I have it just set to 12lbs for a break in period. Probably one more week of daily driving and it should be ready to give a shot at the track and see how many lbs I can run with 93 octane.

Looking good!
Now, my girlfriend wants me to do that to her car!
Was that your car in a photo in a Pontiac car magazine that was just out?
Sitting in a shop?

Have fun,

George

Buick power! I love it. I'm curious to see how your car runs with the 700-R4. Why didn't you use a 200-4R? That car would be a bada$$ sleeper with the stock hood and crappy stock wheels.

Eric, turbo motor is looking good. I'll give you one complaint though; I'm getting sick and tired of seeing the exact same exterior pictures for the last 5 years! lol Snap some pictures more pictures at least for a refresh. Then you can use those until 2010.

hah, that is about right though. I just like this car a lot and I have had it since I was 16. I just happen to run across a stock 87 GN motor and went from there. I suppose I could have went with just an 89 TTA, but I like the 91-92 body style and I like that motor. So I just mixed the 2.

As am I. I had the 700r4 already and it just made things easier for me to just throw an adaptar on there instead of a whole new trans. This one was already built so I figured I would give it a shot. I will let you know how it works out for me.
Was that your car in a photo in a Pontiac car magazine that was just out?

I am not sure. It was at Stenod Peformance for awhile. Did they get in Pontiac car magazine? I doubt it was my car cause I think the Stenod boys would have said something.

As far as costs, money is no object right? lol. It sucked but it is worth it.

I will get more recent exterior photos for ya when I get a chance.

Then that was your car in the photo!
Pontiac Enthusiast May/June 2006, page 61 dead center, sitting in the shop.
The story is about the shop doing work on Firebirds.
Quote:
"This slick third-gen Firebird is indergoing a turbo-motor transplant, using the same Grand National engine that fitted to the '89 Turbo Trans Am pace car replicars. Pretty cool, huh? The white fourth-gen car next to it runs high 8s."
Sorry, but the new issue is already out, so either check the swap meets, or order a back issue!
Just a heads up!

Enjoy,

George
