My bird sold. Time to say goodbye

my 91 formula was sold today. so far no regrets, no feelings of sadness. after owning it for 5 years i guess it was time to move on. but i cant begin to describe all the fun and the joy the car brought to me. so many memories that i'll always keep in my heart. im sure the new owners will take good care of it. everyone needs a change sometime. i dont need to go fast anymore. i have other interests right now, but the love for the thirdgen will always be with me. so i'd like to thank everyone who's helped me out in the past 3 years here on this site. and to everyone else, please take care of ur ride. it was hard seeing mine go after all the hard work i provided to make it look nice and make it turn heads. but i take pride in that. and always proud to have owned such a great piece of automotive history.

take care everyone, and take care of ur rides. they end up becoming more than just transportation.

91-92 formulas are the best, i was quickly checking out your car domain, did you ever get those paint issues taken care of?

nope. when i bought it, it looked almost new, but the FL sun and the storms from 2004 messed up the body and paint. it had turned into a project. i was always finding something small that i wasnt happy with. but i guess thats normal as these cars age. it was still in very good condition compared to the typical abused/neglected thirdgen. the new owners were pleased.

perhaps my very final post, just thought i'd update. i do miss it, but have absolutely no regrets about my decision. im having more fun now with my "new" almost in perfect condition 10 year old 4 banger. it was a nice enjoyable stage in my life that i wont forget. if i ever win the lottery or something, ill get another 91 red firebird, and make it look as mint as the day it came out of the showroom floor.

peace

Out of curiosity why would you leave? I have been without A THIDGEN for awhile and I am still here everyday.
