Not to bash or anything. But it almost looks like rice. I don't like the color scene at all. Of course thats just me though.

I think that could look good, with different color stripes, smaller hockey stripes, and no windshield sticker.
I think they paint stripes on,
don't know about the grill, or the cost but probably like 2-3 grand if you want good qaulity

rice? are you joking? thats prolly the nicest looking camaro hardtop of seen on here (white one atleast) but still 2-3 grand even if your white paint is already good and the whole car doesnt have to be painted? im talkin you buy a car with paint in excelent condition and you just need to paint the stripes on

rice? Yea right, any true ***** would never drive a camaro ....especially that one (well....maybe the trailer park ricers would that are caught between a headbanger and Wu Tang Clan). That picture reminds me of something a ****** would drive. I can just picture him now, cleaning the tires with his curly ****** all over his "YES" t-shirt.

Car: 91 Red Sled
Axle/Gears: 10bolt Richmond 3.73 Torsen
I like the way the front end looks and the hood/paint job. I don't like the colors used. I don't like the fact that the grill sticks out from the body. If it was pushed back in an inch I think it would look a lot better. Let me stress that the windshield banner is FUGLY on a camaro. There are one a few reasons for having a banner and even then I don't like the idea. Yes it is company advertisment BUT it also looks like trash. That is my opinion and I'm sticking to it .
I would also have gotten the full set of 90-92 ground effects BEFORE getting the paint job. Half-*** jobs = half *** products.
Other than that I like the car a lot.

Can someone with photoshop or something do me a HUGE favor and try and change the colors? i think that would like amazing with the white being black, and the green being yellow...anyone please do it and pose pics

Hi, (new-booty here). Well, I like it. I think it looks clean due to the light colors. I do agree with the banner, it looks out of place, and the front grill seems to not fit but if pushed back would look great.
Question, how does an 92 RS w/ no mods hold vs. mustangs, gt 3000, eclipse, stealth?

how many of you have ******s ? jk
To answer your question, stock vs. stock, turbo stealths and 3000GTs will wax the sh*t out of third gens. Especially when they're modified. There are guys on 3si.org doing 12.2s on the stock turbos and stock internals!
Now for the non turbo DOHC versions, they are more competition for you. As are the turbo eclipses

So my RS is trictly just looks, and won't take 1 single car? and what about the mustangs I know they range from 3.4 -> 5.8 (?).
Just want to know so I don't make a fool out of myself. Got my RS 3 weeks ago.

hey THE FORMULA, i posted a ****** post on nethirdgen.org i think u might like it. my name over there is sumguy1118. i can only dream of having a ******. hopefully one day the fantasy will come true.
a ****** is THE BEST haircut ever. it became popular in the eighties, but since has become an endanger'd species. the lead singer from metallica used to have one. short on the top and long to the neck in the back. some call it a "neck blanket", i perfer the term 'business up front and party in back". check out the various ****** websites. a personal favorite is www.******sgalore.com or www.******joe.com both fine sights.

Quick 'n' sloppy. Apologies to whoever's car this is (which looks fine to me except the grille and the windshield banner).

Thanks T/ADave. I like the black on white of the two. Going back to the original pic, the light blue is too subtle for a car that looks like it screams down the highway. Needs a darker stripe IMO.

Well it's not perfect but here you go
If your thinking of putting yellow stripes on black i think that's a bad idea. i think it'd look better with the classic white on black or maybe silver.

hey TransAmDave can you do just the side hockey stipes blue (like on the other pic you did, only they were on the hood), that might look cool both sets of stipes are kinda overkill though.
And I like the grill (just thought I'd say that) but they do look kinda gay white. maybe if the car were blue... or just the grill was black with sum headlight covers and car was still white.

I think that white grills on the front is the same plastic they use to cover the light fixtures in my school. My friend was going to do that with his *****. He was going to go to home depot and buy that plastic light fixture cover, which is a cheap plastic which is easy to cut and snaps really easy, and he was going to put it in his grill. He was then going to put strobes under his grill so that the whole grill would light up, since that is what the plastic does. The plastic actually stretches the light sorta so it looks like the whole piece is lighting up. I could be wrong, but that is what it looks like to me. I dont know why my friend wants to put strobes on his *****, but then again I dont know why he even drives a *****. Correct me if I am wrong but it does look like that plastic that he was talking about the other night.

Jim, I was thinking the same thing; in fact, I'm under a flouresent (sp) lamp right now, and that plastic cover looks like the grill cover!

Everyone on this board is too set in their ways. Everything that is different, someone's personal style, someone's attempt to make their car stand out from the monotony of the rest of our third-gens is always bashed. ALWAYS! Everyone on this bored is too critical.
I'm not a fan of "ricers", but you have to give them one thing. They stick together. They don't flame everyone who has an original idea.

an example would be the car above, yes it is custom, yes the owner had many origional and good ideas, however the end product is not pleasant to the eyes.. just as a gremlin or the 1975 ford pinto is not pleasant to the eyes.
Another comparison would be choosing between Carmen electra or Ricki Lake. I really doubt that anyone here would pick Ricki Lake.
Its all in taste is what it boils down to, and unfortunatley not everyone has good taste to everyone else.. I see no reason to flame just to simply say good idea, bad result.IMHO.
but that is the key now isnt it.
IMHO.
just another .02 from the loony bin

I am a graphic designer by trade. I am paid to know what looks good and what doesn't. It is an undisputable fact that that car does not look good.
I will say that I respect the notion that the guy did some work to his car. I am sure he spent some time TRYING to make it look nice... at least he keeps his car in good shape... there is nothing worse than an owner who lets a thirdgen rust away.

Someone say silver on black?
It's a crappy pic due to lighting conditions at the time, but it'll give you a pretty good idea of the finished product. Stripes are ultra silver metallic paint.
EDIT: My god.. I can't believe I just did that.. put in a pic over 700 pixels wide.
Here's a.. erm.. smaller one.. that won't offset the whole document.
------------------
'86 Camaro SC, black /w silver racing stripes
2.8l MPFI/700r4 /w special 2nd gear delete option
In search of new v8 engine & transmission, now contemplating t5 swap to get me out of this mess.
Misc Mods: Cut air box, '83 Firebird spoiler.
Performance Parts: MSD coil, Accel 8mm wires, SplitFire plugs, Gabriel hijackers.
Audio Mods: Pioneer DEH-P3000, two 12" Optimus Pro Audio subs in hand-made enclosure each powered by a 260 watt Optimus amp. Working on shaving the box for weight.
My Homepage, with pics.
