Fikse FM5's opinions...

Hey guys I'm toying with the idea of getting a set of forged Fikse wheels. 17"x9" for my 88 rs. I plan on running a late 4th gen rear end so I'm gonna get a set of spacers for the front and just run 4th gen offset wheels. But here's the ones I like http://www.fikse.com/yourcar/street28.html I just want some opinions. It's gonna be a darkish blue with some metallic. This is still a ways off since I'm not due to come home from Iraq til Feb of 09. So the more input the better.

On of my favorite wheels, just way too pricey for me.
I priced them a few years ago and they were $800 each, then you need tires.

I love them but not the price. Gi wider though. Maybe 9" in the front, 10" in the rear. Then you can run 315s out back.

Re: Fikse FM5's opinions...

I almost bought a used set a few years ago. Someone on LS1tech had a set of 17x9.5 with tires for $2000, but I had just bought my ZR1's with Nitto 555RII's a couple of weeks earlier. Had I waited and then saw that post I would be rocking some FM5's instead of ZR1's.
