Painting valve covers?

I have the tall centerbolt aluminum valve covers and they look like garbage now I was thinking of painting them black and using a thin brush to paint the chevrolet red. What kind of paint do you think I will need? I was thinking of using black header paint as they did a good job on my headers.

Re: Painting valve covers?

Be sure to use a high-temp paint so it won't flake off.
