My firebird is currently white with a small minor rust spots. The car is in excellent condition i just want to get a paint job to make it stand out more since the color is kinda faded.
I cant decide on whether i should go black or stay white cause i hear staying the stock color keeps the value good since the door jams will all match.
If i went white i was thinking about adding the pheonix graphic or getting stripes. Does anyone have any good picture of either a black or white firebird. Im not talking about crappy pictures of cars with a terrible paintjob. Im hoping someone can post a picture that stands out and encourages me to go that way.
You can get your door jams painted too. If you search around on the site you will find cars on here that look amazing in about every color. Its kind of personal preference.
1 vote for original color. If you're changing the color, to do it right, you need to pull the motor and paint the firewall, inner fenders, etc., remove most of the interior and paint inside jams thoroughly, flip the car and paint underbody. I would love to have a Black GTA, (all TA's should be black!) but I am content with my Metallic Flame Red just because it is so much trouble to change over correctly. Just my two cents...

thanks for the replies im most likely gonna stay white cause itll probably be alot more to paint the jams and little spots.
I went thru alot of pictures but i really couldnt find any really nice white firebirds. So i was hoping someone had a good picture of their own.
i personally love metallic silver on those cars. but if u dont like that i think black and yes door jams are a little more work but worth it if you like the color
I think a pearl white would look awesome on a firebird. Paint wouldnt be that expensive either as alot of Caddys are pearl white.
I saw a car this weekend at a car show that had a gorgeous pearl white. When you moved around the car, it was actually iridescent, and it was blue, then green, then pink, then purple, depending on how the light was hitting it. Had some sweet metal flake in it.

Yea pearl white is one of the most gorgeous colors if done right. My boss has a pearl white Mercedes S500 and it never looks the same color. You wouldnt have to worry about the door jambs and under the hood because the color change so so subtle it blend with the stock white.
