what is this hood called?
i found the pic on this forum and loved the hood on the white camaro, so does anyone have a clue of it origin.

IIRC, it is no type of mass produced aftermarket hood. But rather....It was custom built for THAT car only.

No, I have the big block hood. That is not one of them. Again, it looks like a regular hood with a scoop.

this was misleading, i meant there was a big-block under the hood


unfortunately that was the only camaro to wear that scooped hood. i had a scoop on my car inorder to cover a dent, and while driving on the highway it flew off due to the thim 3m tape.

it kinda looks like mine. i got a repo 69 boss mustang scoop, cut the hole and bolted it down. the sides taper perfectly and follow the lines of the hood. i wishit was about 2iches wider and maybe a 1inch taller tho..

Order 2 of the SC-104..... http://www.up22.com/scoopw1.htm#SC-104 ....split them a few inches off center. Mold the 2 wider parts together. 1 from left, 1 from right for the width you want. And there you go!

LITTLE off topic???

And PLENTY of 3rd gens have been modified to the extent of beating, much less going up against those cars.

Ferraris & Cobras are not the end all/be all of performance cars. Especially Cobras.
