So do you think you guys could help me? (blue cars)

Well I have a 84 z that I am building, the original color is just the gray/dark blue they used in 84. I was going to go back to it. but am not feeling it anymore. So I need a cool blue, kinda want a darker blue, or not so dark, I'm looking for some metallic. Only reason I'm going with blue is the interior is blue and and NOT changing it (cause I love the interior) and only other colors that go with blue are white (already have a white iroc so no) and black (just don't want black) SO if anyone has any input on a nice looking blue please let me know or POST PICS OF IT! Or if you have a blue 3rd gen POST IT!!

POST PICTURES OF BLUE CARS!!!

(yes i know theres another thread but it wasn't exactly what i was looking for)

The car now and the blue it is. (not the original blue)

and the Blue MUST look good with this interior!

Thanks!!

I love that interior. Here's a trick for you. I know the auto body supply stores can do a paint match on a chip of paint. You have looks like 4 different blues going on with the interior.

If you like one of the shades of blue on the interior, see if the paint store can match it for you.The seats and the entire car will flow really well.

Yeah I really like that blue on the super bee, But only on THAT car, i dont think it would look good on my car.

The nissan is to dark. thought it is nice.

and hmm I really like that last one

Also saw a newer Chrysler 300 srt8, it was a darker blue but looked really good.

I'd go with a corvette lemans blue. I love this color and plan on repainting my 91 the same color. **this is not my car by the way...wish it was though

This is my 91. Not sure on the exact color since it was repainted by the original owner

Your Blue looks darker than mine. I am pretty sure the color blue on my car was not avalible in 84. In fact I think it didnt come out til 87 or 88. but I am not possitive. I think I have a better picture of it taken in better light. I will look and try to post it.

Im saying the color my car is NOW, its not the original color, someone repainted it to this color. It is a little darker then yours. But is similar. Also it looks darker in the pics then it does in person.

Also I really like that luxo blue!

This is one of my friend's cars, if you are going to consider blue with silver ground effects. I think this car looks pretty sharp, not sure which blue it is though.

Or if you want all blue, what about a factory color. Mine is Ultra Blue Metallic (WA 9591)

Mercedes Blue with Viper Silver racing stripes. That was what one of my 3rd Gen's was. Loved the color.

When I'm not at work, I'll post you a few pictures of the car. It's the one in my avatar.

Funny thing was, I turned them over to read the names, and they were all posted in the thread. "impulse Blue met", "luxo blue met" and " med blue met". Really leaning tward luxo.
