plug wires

Lets see how you guys have them ran. Preff. center bolt valve covers but both style pic's will work also.

Trying to get ideas on how I want to make a custom set of wires(lengths) to run them on my setup.

Re: plug wires

thats what Im thinking. Just need to find some loomes that work with center bolt covers or make my own that will bolt to the side of the block.

Im running a MSD distrib. in my lt1. and am going with fire core 50 plug wires.
http://www.firecore50.com/

Guess I should just start to measure and go from there. I wish I could find those old distrib. caps that the wires to all left bank on the left side. & all right side on right bank. Makes for a cleaner install.

Re: plug wires

I know I screwed up my wire routing as the wires I took off were not even close. I'd be happy with a factory wiring diagram

It's mostly a matter of which wires went where by whatever length

This is what you need?
http://www.joby.se/corvette/misc/firing_order.gif

if you are looking at the dist from the front of the car. it needs to be 1-8-4-3-6-5-7-2 in the clockwise direction.

No. I was wondering how the wires are routed as mine were routed at the top of the engine. The factory wires were routed under the manifold as best as I can tell.
