That was my thought! I mean here in AZ the glass issue wouldn't be a problem until the summer, but wow! I mean put a video camera in next to the gatling gun, pop the trunk and tape the faces as they see those pop up 'em ROTFLMAO.

What the hell is the point of the flip up doors? They don't look like they pop up for entry.

Uck, but you know one badass transam I want from the movies is the one that was a supercar in the Wriath(Wraith? sp?). That was a pretty damn cool body kit, especially for the 80s.

uhh... did any of you guys read the info? It was made for a crappy movie. It's made to be a road warrior type vehicle. It's not like some kid did this, it was done by hollywood. This guy just bought it to restore it. Maybe he liked the movie?

Yeah, I read the info. I have never heard of that movie. If they had cars like that one i can see why. Did anyone notice how much he wants for it? it has the buy it now option for 22,500! Yea right, you could get a 98 WS6 with moderate mileage for that! Also, how bored was this guy to restore this? And it almost looks like hes trying to pass the guns off as real. That flimsy sheetmetal stand under the gatling would crumble...

I saw that... granted it is in mint condition with only 611 miles... maybe 10k... it's not like it would be particularly useful. If it was a Mad Max car or something it would fetch a pretty penny but give me a brake, I would bet that the car isn't even road legal (tailights omitted LOL)... let alone the fact that it looks like only two seats and no trunk space... plus you need a garage since there are no tops for it. Some people!

It is a rather,, um,, odd vehicle. The guns for tailgaters would be funny though .
The Wraith was a (sweet)Dodge vehicle, not a kit car.

Jeez, guys. The car was made up back in like what, '86 or something? I don't think that backup cameras were readily available then.
A lot of people here are always looking for TV shows and movies where they see Camaros and Firebirds...sounds like this would maybe be a fun one to watch...even though I'll agree, it sounds like a kind of bad movie.
And of course having a car with missles, machine guns, but no roof or windows isn't very "useful." It's a fantasy car.
As Karp said...maybe the guy was a big fan of the movie. (Or maybe he just saw the car cheap and figured he'd make a quick buck.)
Anyway, my favorite show happens to be The A-Team. As soon as I can get some space in my driveway, I'm hoping to pick up a used van and build a replica of the A-Team van. Now if you really think about it, the van they drove around on that show was actually kind of a piece of crap. The only cool features it had were a paint job, body effects, a loud exhaust and big tires. But if you like the show, it's all part of the fun...so if someone likes that movie and therefore wants that car, there's no reason to make fun of him.
But as you guys said, unless it's from some really famous movie, it's not worth anywhere near what the guy wants for it.
