Re: New paint!
Looks great.Nice choice on the hood. IMO its hard to find a street car that looks good with a 4in. cowl but you seem to have pulled it off. I would love to see some photos of the under side of the hood, because IMO Goodmark makes one of the strongest hoods out there and the underside looks amazing .I know because I have the 2in. Goodmark .

Re: New paint!
Thanks, there 18 in irocs. The blue is a 2011 Nissan Daytona blue. The underside of the hood has a lot of structural support. Ill post a pic when I get a chance.

Re: New paint!
I love your color of blue!!!! I want to paint something blue... I need more projects like a hole in the head. I'm torn on the black hood. I like that it is painted at least, but doesn't seem to flow, or at least there is nothing else on the car to pull the un-matched colors together... I honestly think that maybe you need to spray the spoiler and decklid black to complete that... dare I say tuner look?

Re: New paint!
Thanks, Im thinking of changing my wheels to Boss 338 (black). I am not going for a tuner look at all. I can't stand those POS cars. Here's my car with those wheels, I borrowed them from my cousins Monte Carlo SS.

Re: New paint!
Hood looks pretty good. Like the 338's, but personally i'd keep what you have on there now. I just like the look of the larger chrome camaro rims. Love the car all together though. I want to paint mine the exact color as your car. Looks great.

Re: New paint!
The black wheels with the polished lip look so much better with that hood .Try photo shopping the rear tail that you have because I think that's all you need to pull it all together.I think a highrise will be overkill because it looks as if your going for that Muscle car look and the highrise is just out of place.

Re: New paint!
I when I said Tuner I was thinking more in line of like German "tuners"... seems like every M3 or 325 has a black hood and decklid. It doesn't look bad, and in some cases looks down right nasty!
I love the Boss wheels... those DO look killer on there, so go steal them. I think you should photoshop the spoiler and decklid black, and just see how it flows.
I gotta say again I love this color blue... this last pic really shows how much it pops!

Re: New paint!
Again , IMO the wheels you have now in no way match the stance in this photo. On a stock Camaro,or a lowered Camaro, yes. With that stance the black wheels scream old school muscle. But I'm partial to that look because that's kind of what I'm running.

Re: New paint!
Chris I think your car is sweet! That being said, I would have painted the hood to match....just my
Again your car is bad ***, just that the hood painted in your body color would go more with your overall theme.

Re: New paint!
I almost forgot,if you put on a X-Stream filter top by K&N or the Power Lid by Spectre you will be getting the most out of your cowl.

Re: New paint!
Do you plan on painting the roof/decklid black too? Or am I missing the whole reason behind not painting the hood to match the car?

Re: New paint!
Im planning on painting other pieces black and hopefully get black wheels. Also I got my hood painted for nothing and black is a lot cheaper than my paint is. This car is no where near finished, Im just trying to do a little at a time.
Thanks, Chris
