I got a smaller picture
Not much new to declare about the car, getting my collector plates next month. Car is now 25 years old! This winter I'll have to replace the power antenna and sway bar bushings. That's about it! Glad to be nominated.

I voted for BADNBLK imo that's the Baddest one for 2012, maybe not the fastest but definitely the Baddest, wish it had a 350 to accompany that Lonely T56

Thanks brotha! Its faster than most 350 TPI and bolt on Lt1 cars up here in the thin air, but it needs LS... but that is still in planning stages

MW66Nova's car was in a month based on drag cars. 406 TPI's car has the stock look but with a blown ls1 under the hood. Besides the wheels it's an ultimate sleeper. All of these cars are incredible and this was impossible to vote for! Great cars you guys!

Judging by the fact that during the last several months he has posted asking how to tell the size of a tire, what the "bead" on a tire is, and what a "2000 stall" means, I'm guessing that he doesn't have much of a "pile." I'm also guessing that he wouldn't know what a 10 second street car looked like if it ran over him in broad daylight. Sounds like he would have gotten much more benefit from reading and learning than racking up 400+ posts in the last year.
Awesome car mw66. I know people throw the word "beast" around a lot, but that car deserves it.

Every car in the runnings is gorgeous and has the owners heart and soul into it. Gonna be a tough competition, but in my mind all of these cars are winners, and represent the best of the best for third gens. Nice rides guys, and can't wait to see what next year brings us for another round of excellent cars.
Heres a couple more shots of mine I figured I'd throw in...

2. Sorry about not being able to measure rims. I had never delved into it, thought it was self explanatory. I was wrong.
3. I did not realize Mw66Nova's car had been voted for in a drag car month. As far as the body goes, it does not look as tight or developed as Nuffnuff's. I meant no disrespect, I am sure it is well built and runs strong, it's just that Nuffnuff's looks incredible and well thought out. No one can dispute that, I can see a damn dent on Mw66Nova's without even zooming in.

That's because this is a thread where people are voting for the Car of the Year Winner out of the cars that won Car of the Month. They're posting pictures so people can decide which one they should vote for. It's not a show and tell thread.

Ditto. No respect...
I remember MW66nova being on here way back in the day when I was a newb haha. His car is just as deserving as anyone elses....and last time I checked, people didn't drive full on drag cars on the street all the time like he does.

Can't tell if its a dent on the front clip or just the way the light is hitting it, either way I don't give a Damn about this dumb argument, unless there's some Gay Pink Striping on it or Pimp Pink furry seats in it I'm not going to make a federal case out of it if the door panel creases don't happen to line up with the fenders or if because its a plain clothes drag car. either way he's in

Iansane, I had to double check the list to believe that you didn't win a COTM this year. Your Bird is absolutely beautiful! I was checking out one of your threads recently and saved a few pictures from it. It's a sure winner next year.
As for the detractor, some people just don't know when sharing their critical opinion is nothing but rude. I would hope that he wouldn't tell someone in person that their car didn't deserve the honor it received, but for some reason that good sense is often lost when behind a keyboard.

Re: 2012 COTY (Car Of The Year) **VOTING**
All b-e-a-utiful cars in this thread/contest. All obviously have had a lot of time spent building them up nice/clean, and keeping them clean.
mw66nova's car is far from a "run of the mill" type drag car. A lot of time & effort in that car, and it's built & kept far cleaner than most "just" drag cars. - lots of hacked-up/thrown together drag cars out there, few & far between are the ones that are built clean & kept that way.
Well then, I have a bone to pick.........hehehehehe

Re: 2012 COTY (Car Of The Year) **VOTING**
All b-e-a-utiful cars in this thread/contest. All obviously have had a lot of time spent building them up nice/clean, and keeping them clean.
mw66nova's car is far from a "run of the mill" type drag car. A lot of time & effort in that car, and it's built & kept far cleaner than most "just" drag cars. - lots of hacked-up/thrown together drag cars out there, few & far between are the ones that are built clean & kept that way.
Well then, I have a bone to pick.........hehehehehe

It is a GREAT honor. The caliber of the cars on here is much better than we(thirdgens) are perceived to be!
I was hoping to get a couple rolling pictures now that the gauges are in, along with a T56, and 9", but it gets dark so early its been hard for us to get it done...
I did get some gopro videos, but sadly they came out very bad......
