UPDATE: installed new rear suspension. Painted some parts.
Some of you know I got this great roller that was loaded with suspension goodies. Got the rear pulled out of it and started to paint the parts today. There was a lot of overspray on everything from the PO painting the car.
Donar Car:
Pulled rearend. It's a 10 bolt posi with .410 gears, strange axels, hotchkis adj. panhard bar, jegs LCA, jegs TA with relocation bracket.
Pulled the subframe connectors and painted them. Shadows from the trees make them look wierd though.
Painted the 21mm rear sway bar.

Re: Getting ready to install new suspension. Painted some parts.
Will do. I need some more paint to do my LCA's and still need to paint the rear end and it'll be ready to install. I gotta do the subframe connectors at the same time cause one of the bolts to install them is the LCA mount bolt. Plus I have to take my seats and carpet back out to drill the holes to mount the sfc and the TA relocation bracket. Sucks, I just installed the carpet and it's all glued down.

Looking good man, I really like your car and always check out your posts as your always doing something cool. I have to ask, why have you put so much time and money in the 84 SC? I have seen some of the cars you have picked up, Iroc's and stuff. Not ******* your car cause like I said I really like it, just wanted to know.

I get it, here in ohio its a rolling 25 years for emissions so this year 88 and older does not need tested, sucks my RS still has a few more years, but it passed already so im good for a few years. Yeah i love the looks of the 91/92 camaros as well

Re: Getting ready to install new suspension. Painted some parts.
Update: Finally got around to getting all the rear suspension and sf connectors installed. I did not swap the actual rear end yet. My friend that was supposed to help bailed on me, so I just decided to swap the components for now. The SF connectors were much easier to install that I thought. All I had to do was remove the kick panels and sill plates so that I could pull back the carpet in the footwells. I mounted the rear bolts first using the LCA bolts, then used a jack to hold the front while I drilled the holes from underneath for the front. Pushed the bolts through from the top and had my daughter get in the car and hold the the bolts while I got underneath and tightened the nuts. I gotta say how much different the car drives and handles with the new parts and sf connectors. Totally different feel. Now I need to pull all the front suspension/brakes off the donar car and swap it in. Looks to me that it lowered the rear a little over an inch.
Sway bar, Hotchkis adj panhard bar, Eibach Sportline springs and new shocks.
Passenger/Driver tubular LCA'S and rear mount of SF connectors.
SF connectors. I painted the wrong side of the passenger sf connector. Will fix that. LOL

Re: UPDATE: installed new rear suspension. Painted some parts.
Yeah. No need to take anything apart. I freaked for a second when I realized that the passenger side had to go above the exhaust but then realized it slid right over it and it was ok. You can def tell a difference. It's both tighter and stiffer but not harsh. No noises from them and as a matter of fact after installed them an existing rattle went away. I know. I've come across several great deals but this one took the cake
