Need paint tips and advice
So I just bought an 89 camaro rs. It's a little rough and once I get the insides running good I want to fix the body up and paint. I was wanting to use rustolium metallic blue. First of all has anyone used this? If so how is it? Second I found some glow in the dark paint which I love anything that glows in the dark, if anyone could suggest a tasteful way to integrate this I would love to hear it. I was thinking of outlining the rims in it possibly. Any feedback would be appreciated!

Welcome to the site.
After spending some more time on this site I think you may have second thoughts on using either one of those.
Really nice car by the way.
( glow in the dark and Rustoleum = Danger....Danger)

Re: Need paint tips and advice
So take the cash that you saved and but some paint! lol - I say that like I woke up on a pile of cash this morning...
I am getting ready to try my hand at body work myself. My 'bird has a ton of dents and dings, so I am going to try to get them cleaned up and get it ready for paint next summer. I will probably let Maaco paint it. I am going to leave it the factor Brilliant Red, but I think I might add some gold flake.

I wasn't a fan either, until I got the car, and it has really grown on me. It is a deep red, more maroon than anything...plus, it will allow me to keep the door jambs and engine compartment matching...

I don't know about glow in the dark paint but I think it would be a good idea to paint the gfx with it
