Re: Billet Hood hinges
Pricy.... yes , when parts are 1 of's cnc work gets very high. but when you make it in a bigger amount it becomes cheaper....i dont know if any of you guys are on facebook if you are look for the page R.G. Custom Designs... in that page i have pics of custom parts i have been doing for some shops in the states , on the moment im working on multiple parts for a 69 camaro RS.... on of the parts is a custom fuel cap and fuel filler im not aloud to show pics so far . But once the client my client lets me i will share with you guys. Im planning on doing alot of billet parts for my car . I think it really will give a modern look to the old 80' look . So far i have in my idea to do a billet dash cluster , the door handles , door handel cover panels with matching billet door lock switches , center console , radio / climat control cover pannel , clutch/brake/gas pedals ...it will take a wile fore get evry thing done but at the end will it look crazy.

Re: Billet Hood hinges
I would think something like this would have a market with very expensive show cars.

Very cool. I'd like for my billet hinges to look more like your design. Yours have that RingBrothers look to them... I like it and would be interested if they were to be for sale.

Re: Billet Hood hinges
hey guys thanks for the feedback so far on the hinges, i`m not sure if they will be for sale , i will need first to have a set machined , tested and mounted to my own car , i m not going to sell any thing that could not work or low quality, thats just not me , as for a price i cant say how much it would cost , i know that the first set will be expensive , but by the time im done i will every body know , and depending on the amount of people that may want to purchase i will then come up with the price as the more people want the cheaper it get. i will use the oem gas springs on the hinges , its easier if some one needs to change it,
