March 2022 COTM "Vendor Showcase Third Gens" **Voting Thread**
We have three very interesting third gens from our vendor community for this month's COTM. Each is premier example of what can be done to a third gen to update performance, handling, and experience. Which one is the best and deserves to be this month's COTM?

Interesting that the Stormtrooper info (here and one their site) shows one design of hood under construction, but they end up with something quite different (and much better looking IMO).
Edit: The MT - GMHTP link above is bad. This MT link works.

All such over the top amazing cars. They brought out Stormtrooper to the Trans Am Nats after they finished building it. Crazy nice car.

Hi Alan and Guys ,
Thanks for all the kind words on a couple of our builds. Silver Streak specifically has had A LOT of changes since these photos and I will do my best to get you guys some updated photos. Since these pics, we have flared all four fenders with metal so we can run a 18X11 and a 315 tire in the front and a 18X12 with a 335 tire in the rear. We also updated the engine to a Mike Lough built 440 CI with Bill Daley Dry sump oiling system. This set up made a little over 800 hp to the CRANK and we look forward to some chassis dyno #s soon as we have been SO SLAMMED IN THE SHOP !! Hopefully Covid will calm down so we can get back out to some events to show it off !! Silver streak is a really cool car to me as it was an old Super Chevy Mag project car that I personally followed back in the day, so now to have it part of our fleet of shop cars is really cool to me and hope we can make third gen guy proud with it, as I know it makes me proud !! Thanks again guys and good luck to DSE and any other cool third gen cars that come up these are ALL awesome WIN worthy cars IMO
Sincerely and Thankfully ,
