i know we have talked about this before, but i couldnt find it! what is everyone's take on razorblades, epoxy, etc. i would prefer NOT to epoxy it in case the local PD has some probs with them.

Screw them in with torque bits. If you get black screws and put them in the right places, nobody will hardly even notice they're on, and while everyone always has a phillips screwdriver around, almost nobody carries torque bits. Thats basically the consensus of the last thread.

not sure if bolting the headlight blackouts to the fiberglass nose is a wise idea.
a determined thief will still get the blackout off the car and in the process do a few hundred dollars worth of damage to the vehicle. is probably better to have to replace a $20 peice of black plastic than a $500 bumper cover.

People will steal anything not bolted (sometimes even bolted) they can, expecially blackouts from popular cars. There is this stuff called Night Shades from VHT, its pretty much black outs in a can. I never sprayed the brake lights with the stuff, but it looks GREAT on side markers, makes a black car look like its completely smooth, plus if a cop f*cks with you you can tell them it came from the factory, they believed my story.

that why they make guns !!!
they can try their luck any time they feel like it, but they would have to be mighty desperate to try, a .45 makes a real big hole on the way out.
