How about JcWhitney? You ever heard of this store? The web is www.jcwhitney.com . There are awhole bunch of fluorescent lights in there, like this one: 1" thick, 3" wide from 6 watts to 26 watts and from 9.95 to 22.99. Shipping and handeling for your area is $7.80. You should request catalog if you dont have one, they are really good and have alot of great parts! I would use two red neons if it were me, but it all depends on your taste I guess. Well, that and your income. Later.

Ok, I have a question regarding the stock engine light. I bought a brand new one from parts-for-less, but the piece running from my wiring harness has no connector. Does anyone know where I can get this portion of the wiring harness? I don't even know what it looks like. I had no luck last year during my junk yard search, but it's starting to get warmer now. You'd think Borg Warner or somebody would make a replacement, but I don't even have a clue what to look for.

you really dont need the plug, just tap into any 12 volt source. the light only comes on when the hood opens anyway. as for that neon crap lighting. I doubt those lights will last long under the hood with all the heat. maybe if you got exspensive ones. try looking for the lights that came in the chevy trucks. They mount to the side of the fender well and have a light that is attached to a long wire on a reel. thats what I have since I lost my light when I put my fiberglass hood on
