Front quarter panels
Is there or is there not a difference in front quarter panels between an 89 RS, 89 Iroc, and 89 Convertible?

I think the copnvertable ones are different.. they have some sort of bracket underneath or something to that nature. I remeber a thread about it a while back

I'm telling you for sure. There's absolutely no difference at all in ANY 82-92 camaro fender except for the holes that the ground effect studs go through, but since all 89 cars used the same ground effects, that's not an issue.
There is certainly NO difference in convertable fenders. Convertables started out as t-top cars and absolutely no modifications were made to the front fenders.
I don't recall a car ever having a front 1/4 panel, so if you don't want to accept a little constructive criticism, make sure you don't deserve it.

I am afraid that I am a victim of this exact question at the moment.
I purchased 2 vert fenders for my 88 Iroc thinking that they would just bolt up. NO WAY... The rear mounts are COMPLETELY MISSING..

Jim is right here about the cars being the same, the vert's were actually an "afterthought" modification on the line during production so to speak. BUT.. They have a large bracket that bolts the fender to the chassis because the X-brace gets in the way of a normal fender! The vert fenders actually look like they have been chopped off on the inside and are missing part of the fender! If you are considering buying a set of vert fenders for a non-vert, DO NOT DO IT..

IIRC the Vert fenders rear bottom attach to the aftermarket subframes or somekind of brace under there. Or they clear something to fit properly.
