First off i think most everyone on this board customizes their cars, that body kit just doesn't flow with the car at all in my opinion. if you want one then by all means go get it. Secondly I don't think its that original, it looks a lot to me like the body kits people put on hondas every day. Original work is great and I'm sure that guy put a lot of work into that so I'll give him credit for that but it just doesn't flow well.

I agree with you on the rockers. The hood and wing gotta go, and the front end looks out of place, but still overall looks good and unique. I actually kinda like it. I also like the way the exhaust pokes out, i always like that on cars.

Just my $.02

it wouldn't be too bad if the vents flowed better kinda like the 91/92 vents in the gfx flowed. Its not bad but i wouldn't do it to my vert. if I bought something like that i would do some modifying to it!!

I like the idea of a body kit but it has to have quality and like others said it does NOT flow with the car. Just because it is different doesnt mean crap if it looks like it was made to be sold at Walmart on a clearance isle! I wish a company like Veilside would do some kind of body kit but they only like imports for that. I would love to see a quality kit that goes with the lines of the 3rd gens. but I havent yet and probably wont!

You would probably consider me a stock **** since all my cars are stock, but I can appreciate quality and imagination. This body kit looks cheap, doesn't "fit" the car at all and looks absolutely hideous. My opinions are not because I like stock. I like "my cars" to be stock. Others can do what they want and I'll appreciate the work, but I hope I never see this on the street.

I think the front looks decent if it could be modified a bit with all the vents and trimmed up a bit...the rear looks too 80's...the rocker panels I believe fit though. I think its interesting and if one would take the time to modify it a bit and make it owrk a bit better I think ti would look very nice.

I think the vents in the front gotta go..Also it needs to be more straight across in the front. Needs a better looking hood..Needs better spoiler. And to take a difference of opinion, I dont like that rear kit with the exhaust at all. I think exhaust pipes shouldnt be tucked away. They need to be seen and mean! LOL I do like the side skirts...But thats about it. It could probably look alot better if it wasnt so *****...Im not a stock freak. But as alot of ppl have said no1 has really made a kit that looks good and flows with the car. Believe me it could be done.

I like it. Not much for the Vents on the fender and I dont like how it looks on the vert', But if it were cheaper, I'd buy it for mine! I think it would look good with bigger tips and bigger rims. Not the coolest, But I like it!

Well for a guy who does not like Camaroes that much. Of course I am bieased. Again I said that much not that I do not like them at all because I do. I think that it looks better. Yes it does need some work. The hood is soso and the wing is just not right but I love the rest. May even consider something like that for my TA. Should fit. Don't think I want to pay that price though. But still looks better than most camaros to me. Again I am a little biased.

If the kit came as a GFX package, I'd get it. I love the exhaust cutouts in the back (just need some bigger cutouts). The front GFX give the car a much stronger look in my opinion. The sideskirts match the rest of the GFX, but could have been done a little better I think.

This guy had the right idea, but got lost somewhere along the way. The fender vents are unnecessary, the hood is a knockoff of those Black Widow hoods popular on the imports, the wing is highly lacking in matching the car or the GFX (he didn't make it; it's an aftermarket wing for Mustangs I believe), and I don't even have to say anything about those wheels. I think with the right hood, spoiler, wheels and paint job on a non-vert Camaro, this kit could look really nice.

As far as looking cheap, I highly disagree. The kit looks to be very well done in its own right. Nothing is hanging off or crooked anywhere.

We must have some Photoshop gurus itching to get their hands dirty on this one...

[edit] I just noticed the kit only comes with the GFX, not the hood vents or wing. That being said, I'd probably buy this kit if the price was a little more manageable.

I am by far and away not a stock ****, and that car is horrible.

First off, the rear is interesting, but why the big rectangular cutout on the bottom? Also, for a kit supposedly coming from a guy that has 25 yrs fabricating/fiberglass experience, you'd think he could remove the stock wing before adding that shark fin up top.

The side profile is horrible. The car looks like it sags in the middle.

Extending the front bumper is rediculous. I scrape bottom now.

Lastly, this is a fiberglass kit. Fiberglass will crack the first time you scrape the bottom of a driveway with your new cow catcher.

$1000 for a front and rear bumper, and some side skirts that will most likely all crack as soon as you hit a speed bump? I don't think so.

First of all, I find the term "stock ****" personally insulting especially coming from someone who thinks that a r*ced out body kit belongs on an american sports car.

That kit is @$$ ugly, bottom line.

I have an enormous amount of respect for the guy that put the time and effort into creating that, but on the same token... not everything that is custom built is going to be a spectacular sell to the public. If I wanted to drive something that looked like a Honda, I would have bought an accord.

Case Closed

The price is bloody ridiculous, especially since you don't even receive the entire kit. As others said, it's only fiberglass pieces - the freight alone would be terribly expensive.

Besides, as other also have noted, there just isn't anything about the kit that really gives the car a good facelift. It's more of a hack job, by someone who really doesn't understand the Camaro in the first place.

yeah i really don't like it either. the one piece of it that looks the best is the front gfx, but i still prefer the stock flat piece.

none of it really looks TOO bad, the main thing is i think it looks cheap. 2 hoodscoops could be cool if done right, but i think they're too short and look weird with so much flat hood around them. also the side vents....not that bad, but look mismatched with the rest of the car. and the rear skirt, with the holes for the exhaust............this works for mustangs, not camaros. again i think it just looks cheap.

edit: another thing i noticed....on most cars when you add a body kit, everything fits so well and goes so good together that it looks like it could have come from the factory that way. but this kit doesn't look like that

I know just what you mean, I found it awfully strange that so many people dislike louvers because they make their car look "too 80s" or something along those lines. Our cars are all from the eighties or very early nineties, and are naturally a part of the era they came from.

Ah, and what a glorious era it was.

i think the fenders and hood definitly need to go, the holes in the front bumper should not be there but other than that it looks fine to me, side skirts are fine, back bumper would be better of no exhaust holes and you had a corvett like exhaust set up with the 4 tips coming out the cut out, i like it otherwise...someone really needs to do a good body kit for our cars, they all pretty much are the same and it gets annoying. i can only think of like 3 kits for the camaros

Personally I like it except for the rear bumper. If it had some flat tips coming underneath the bumper it would look better in my opinion. As to the guy saying it was cheap plastic if you read the deal it says it's hand laid fiberglass. It's diffrent thats for sure and being diffrent is cool right ??? I wouldn't pay a grand for it though maybe 500 or 600.

That body kit is horrendous. At the same time, I'm not mad to each his own..

I like the fact it's different. If i saw someone with that kit on their car i would compliment them, but i wouldn't buy it. I do think the sides and back look cool. Just my opinion though.

just to throw my .02 in i like the rear add-on, it would look great with the corvette exhaust that exits through the four tips in the middle. but youd have to fil in the holes where he made them for the stock exhaust

I dont think that its that bad..... i like the front end and the side skirts are ok... but i am not really a big fan of the rear bumper on it....Did the person custom build it or was it bought from a factor or something??
