analog to digital dash HELP!!
i know many ppl are gonna say dont do it cause i will have problems and shyt but i personally like it alot better than analog and i thing it gives the car more class!
anyways, i have a digital dash out of a 87 gta and i want to know how to wire it up. and if anyone has any electric analog schematics or digital schematics, diagrams, pinouts that they could e-mail me that would ne very helpfull. i want to wire it up so i can just unplug the digital and plug back in the analog if i have any problems with the dash later on. i have been wantin to do this swap for a very long time but never figured out how to wire it up. ppl please help me
thanks

Youll NEVER be able to wire it up like you want. Your basically going to need the entire wiring harness from a digital car, minus the engine harness. Luckily, I have the entire harness and dash from a donor car, so my swap *should* go pretty smoothly. Thats realistically the only way to do it. There are alot of sensors a digital car has that an analog doesent.

ANALOG TO DIGITAL CAN BE DONE AND HAS!
Hello,
The analog to digital dash can be done and has been done!I have done the swap without the entire dash wiring harness and
mine is wired in parallel.I had 10" of wire coming from the back of the donor digital display along with the wiring diagrams that I got from "CHET" here on line.Plus I have had some other sources that I was able to use.Check this link for information.I have the
digital dash wiring diagrams (THANKS CHET) and I can send them to you. http://www.gtasourcepage.com/forum/s....php?t=7661nt.
