How to remove rocker planel GFX

How to remove rocker planel GFX

I just took one off the passenger side at the junkyard and i really didnt take it off correctly, i dont think i hurt the gfx but it just didnt feel right.

anyways on the circles blue spots is where i had trouble there was like werid (idk how to describe them) but it came off funny, if anyone knows the correct way to install and uninstall these GFX please help me out.

Not positive, but I heard somewhere that to remove the back portion, you need to go thru the rear speaker opening. Never tried it and never saw it done, but I thought I heard it here before.

Ok, good... I'm not crazy... I thought I read/heard that somewhere too... I was going to post that answer earlier but didn't want to post it if it wasn't true....

On my camaro you have to take out the rear 6x9s and reach all the way down and theres one 11mm (i think thats the size) speednut. On my old 82 t/a it was the same thing with the rear "spat" gfx

I have an 88 camaro and when i tried taking off my GFX's the front part came right out because the front fender was so badly rusted, but the back part woudnt budge. Anyone know if its possible to mount 91-92 GFX's if the tabs are missing?:lala:

You are really doing it the hard way.

I did mine by removing the side plastic panel and then there's an access square hole covered by a rubber patch. Remove the patch and there's your screws:

Accually I did this today. Remoce the plastic panel under the wheel well in the front and remove the back bolts from there then push the GFX's back. The back slide off meaning no need to remove plastic intior inside.

thats the way i did mine on the 85 if you miss that one you will have some damage repair to do
