its very easy, i pulled mine off just 2 days ago, and today i completley finished sanding the paint/gel coat, etc off of both of them down to the fiberglass...
-open the door, there are 4 screws, remove those;
-get under the car, there are about 6-9 small screws, with a hex head, size 9/32" if i remember correctly... remove those
-remove the Z28 emblem (if you have it) there are 2 phillips screws hidden back there; remove those..
-lastly there is some type of metal pin/shaft towards the rear wheel, that holds the gfx in, its a push in type fastner, so you will have to eitehr gently gently pry this back out, or cut it off witha long hacksaw blade (my one side pulled right out, the other side i had to cut) be gentel
after all this, the gfx will be free, thats it, takes about 15 mins per side
-let me know if u have more questions.

The bolts underneath are 7mm, dont remove the emblem because I have yet to see any screws or bolts there, I don't recall the shaft on the rear wheel either, just remove all screws and bolts and it should come off.

first of all he was asking about the door ground effects not the rocker ones, there there are 2 13 mm nuts on the outside of the door, usually they are pretty rusty. and you have to take the door panel off to get to the other 3, wich should be either 10 or 11mm usually 11mm. then simply just pull it off. as far as the rocker ground effects, it depends on the year wether or not there is screwws behind the emblems, the 85-90 style are fiberglass and do have screws behind the emblem, the 91-92 style are urethane (rubber) and do not have screws behind the emblem, but they do have 2 speed nuts on the backside of the fender. as far as the stud in front of the rear wheel, going into the quarter panel, both styles have these. and DO NOT CUT THEM!!! they have a speed nut on the inside of the quarter panel. you actually have to remove some interior trim to get to it
