Another Fiero GT wing score at the junkyard...

I was at the local junk yard here last week end and found a Fiero GT wing bolted to a '91 Camaro that still had the original wing on it. The GT wing was bolted on just forward of the stock wing. Looked horrible. I had to rescue the GT wing for my other Firebird.

One guy saw me carring it around and said "Where did you get that? There are only two Fiero's in here and they were not GT's." When I told him it was bolted to a '91 Camaro, he laughed. "Should have known." he said. He offered me $80.00 dollars for it. I declined. I paid $22.20 at the gate.

Now I need to find another notch back.

I've not heard of these being used on thirdgens before. Is that one on the primered Bird in the background?

I have a few pics of the TA. I'm almost done with the body, less shaving the door handles, locks, and I'm thinking about adding some vents on the sail panels sort of like the mustangs, yet not.

So that's where those wings come from, there was a Camaro at a local JY around here that had one on it, and I was wondering what it was from. Now I know, lol.

I just aligned the end of the wing with the back of the bumper.

hmmm... I own a 86 Fiero GT with the wing but I would probly not even put that wing near my camaro. Though those wings are exspensive and the stands are the most exspensive part but they look good on the Fiero.

kudos to you man....I say lets keep it original....at least to the untrained eye btw hold on to that Fiero. I'm sure you know, but in one of my car mags they were talkin about "future barn find fodder" and the Fiero is on that list...haha right after that i saw one for 999 dollars being sold...wish i'd had the money.. last night I saw another in a shed by a gas station...there must have been 2 inches worth of dust on that puppy haha

That looks great, I have been looking for an alternative to my crapped out aero-wing, these look really good. Might be a bit hard to get here though

Re: Another Fiero GT wing score at the junkyard...

When I delivered mail in the 78218 zipcode here in San Antonio, I'd see a silver GT fiero with wing, sitting in a driveway gathering dust. Might try and offer them a few hundred dollars around Thanksgiving this year.

I have a friend who has one on his 84 T/A. They look almost like they would have come stock like that. They are a little wider than the standard wing. I might put one on my 85 T/A. Thats the first one I've seen on these boards.
