I second the SS Hood opinion, or how about an Iroc Hood?

I second this style hood. I'm infatuated with them. They look amazing, but it up to you in the end.

Don't have pics right now. I will get em. But my dad and I bought one of those twin turbo hoods? for our iroc and it looks awesome on there. We plan on cutting out the turbo ducts and custom making an intake system. Or maybe twin turbos lol

I would say find something different, that everyone eles doesn't have.

I have the ss hood ( which I love ) but mabe go with the jap heat extractor hood or somthing that would look good WITH hood pins so your hood wont go flying up again...

Either go with an SS hood or make your own custom hood if you really want to be different.

If the L88 hood is the Big Block hood, I say that first, 4th gen SS style second.

And your right about the cowl hoods...They are so common, they are kinda "boring" to me now.

Re: Need a new HOOD- help decide which one!

Anything but a daytona iroc hood, those are the most vomit enducing hoods ever made. I'd say either a regular cowl hood or an SS hood, though I think 4th gen hoods should be left on 4th gens. What ever you get this time remember hood pins are nessicary on fiberglass hoods.

I found the L88 style....I retract my vote for it!

I'd like to replace that vote, with a vote for the Jongbloed hood as my first choice.
