Car: 87 IROC Z28 Engine: Custom Forged 355 Transmission: 700R4 Axle/Gears: 9" 4:11's Detroit Locker | Need a new HOOD- help decide which one! ok so i have the ram air two hood on my car...during a little race action las nite, the hood flew up...craked the hood and destroyed it basically, now i need a new hood, i dont really want a cowl hood i want sumthing different...jap carbon fiber maybe...i dont know...im still mad about destroying my hood, so if you guys have any good ideas what would look good on the car...post a pic and let me know...all opinions are welcome. thanx |

Don't have pics right now. I will get em. But my dad and I bought one of those twin turbo hoods? for our iroc and it looks awesome on there. We plan on cutting out the turbo ducts and custom making an intake system. Or maybe twin turbos  lol |

I have the ss hood ( which I love ) but mabe go with the jap heat extractor hood or somthing that would look good WITH hood pins so your hood wont go flying up again... |

Anything but a daytona iroc hood, those are the most vomit enducing hoods ever made. I'd say either a regular cowl hood or an SS hood, though I think 4th gen hoods should be left on 4th gens. What ever you get this time remember hood pins are nessicary on fiberglass hoods.
